Then we called Jones for a second opinion. Their inspector showed us that the "ant damage" was just sand falling from old chimney mortar; nothing to worry about. And, no ants. The termite damage was over 30 years old and had been corrected before we moved in 30 years ago. He saw where another pest control company had drilled a hole to inject chemicals and filled it with mortar. No termites here either.
Chuck, the Jones representative,was honest, forthright, informative and pleasant. We offered to pay for the inspection, but Chuck declined.We could not ask for more or better service and gladly recommend Jones services at any time.

Review: • A prepayment of $360.40 was made to Jones Termite by our check dated June 2013 for future services.

• We subsequently sold our house with a close date of July 31, 2013.

• Per a phone call sometime in July of this year, I spoke to Mr. Jones regarding a refund of our prepayment, explaining to him we were moving and no longer required its services. He agreed to return our prepayment.

• When the refund was not received, I wrote a letter to Mr. Jones dated October 14, 2013 reminding him of his commitment to return our $360.40.

• No response from anyone at Jones Termite to my letter.

• On November 6th, I phoned Jones Termite. Their machine answered and I left a message again requesting payment.

• To date, there has been no response from the company.Desired Settlement: Same as above
