companies in the area that provide the service we doWhen we have to put the tow trucks driver in a dangerous situation it's only natural that our prices reflect the added cost it takes to find drivers that can handle the stress of these situations and have the ability to control the scene and get your vehicle, possibly you and themselves out of the situation safelyNo driver is signing up for that work at standard pricing and a quick Google search of tow truck driver will show you just how threatening this line of work can be especially in those situations. You mentioned the unsafe location of the car, you mention how quickly we were able to get your car safely out of it and get you on your wayWe really think that justifies our price and service and then someWe ask that you please rethink your review and change it to one that more aptly reflects the fast expert service we provided

At first blush I'm guessing there's a communication misunderstanding probably on both ends this situationWhile we offer hoservices starting at $each towing situation is so different and the way that the vehicle owner describes the situation can also vary greatly from the actuality when we
arriveIt's for this reason we don't give firm quotes over the phone, rather we normally quote the hofee and $a mile for standard towsWe are crystal clear with those terms and also explain that other circumstances can effect the price like being on the highway or in need of winchingIf you can provide more details we'd definitley look into the transaction to be sure everything is as it should be and if not we'd obviously make it so

I am rejecting this response because: This was a local roadway with traffic traveling at much safer speeds than like a highway or interstate This should be a common everyday part of your job Towing cars from the roadway and such a common service should be reflected with a estimated fee This is what's your advertised price appears to be You cant just decide I'm going to charge this guy whatever I want for whatever reason I can think of This was a completely everyday type of tow It was quick to do and involved minimum work on your part If towing a car from the side of a local road is so uncommon and dangerous that fee should be advertised To go from a $advertised hook up fee to a $hookup fee is such a massive difference there is no excuse to not notify your customer prior Your advertised price is exceptionally misleading I guarantee any other tow service would have done this same job much cheaper I can prove that if necessary Plus I was promised an itemized receipt which I still have not received Then I can take this itemized receipt to another tow agency and show the insane pricing difference Bottom line is you advertise a different price as to what you charge and go a step further to mislead by not telling the customer of the massive differences to what you advertise and what you actually charge I would have never done business with you for fees that high because I know I can get it much cheaper anywhere else Look at your online reviews, I'm by far not the only victim to your unethical tactics

the area. Without it none of us could stay in business. If the situation is communicated ahead of time we would not have to charge but when it's not the cost of fuel and a driver and wear and tear on the tow truck has to be factored in.

You fail to understand the issue. You agreed to tow the vehicle and your driver did not perform the service he merely sat in his truck looking at the house where the motorcycle was outside awaiting pickup. He did not even get out of his truck to make an attempt at performing the serivice. I have witnesses as well.
If you're having trouble understanding why you continually fall short try reading some of your reviews online. You are clearly missing the point of your complainants. Thank God for services like Revdex.com to enable consumers a forum to fight back against crooked individuals like yourself.

I am rejecting this response because: The response only states that they will review the invoice, not that they will do anything about it.  I am still looking to receive the balance of what I was quoted, which was $177, and the $400 that I was charged. The balance being $283.  I still feel they were fraudulent in their charges, taking advantage of a female who was uniformed at the time as to what a fair charge should be.  There were no unique factors to the tow that needed to be adjusted.  It took approximately 5-10 minutes for the man to put my vehicle on the truck and secure it.  They also charged me $100 fee for them driving from their place to mine.

Our service starts the moment you ask us to come out  This particular vehicle owner called us 27 minutes after reserving our service to cancel just as the tow truck was pulling up after driving over 20 miles in brutal weather to get there. If we didn't have this policy in place we could not...

stay in business because anytime someone needed hep they would call 10 towing companies and use the first that came out leaving nine companies on the line with a wasted trip, wasted gas and wasted time. We hope you can see how a business can't operate in those circumstances and why every towing company similar to ours operates with this same policy.
