Our service starts the moment you ask us to come out This particular vehicle owner called us minutes after reserving our service to cancel just as the tow truck was pulling up after driving over miles in brutal weather to get thereIf we didn't have this policy in place we could not stay in business because anytime someone needed hep they would call towing companies and use the first that came out leaving nine companies on the line with a wasted trip, wasted gas and wasted timeWe hope you can see how a business can't operate in those circumstances and why every towing company similar to ours operates with this same policy
I'm looking into this invoice today but I will say that every towing situation is unique and while we like to quote accurate numbers over the phone many situations we arrive at are not as describedIt can be hard for the average vehicle owner to understand some of the nuances of our job that can result in higher bills
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The response only states that they will review the invoice, not that they will do anything about it. I am still looking to receive the balance of what I was quoted, which was $177, and the $400 that I was charged. The balance being $283. I still feel they were fraudulent in their charges, taking advantage of a female who was uniformed at the time as to what a fair charge should be. There were no unique factors to the tow that needed to be adjusted. It took approximately 5-10 minutes for the man to put my vehicle on the truck and secure it. They also charged me $100 fee for them driving from their place to mine. Sincerely, [redacted]
