JoPa Company

On May 2, 2015, I ordered an outside wicker sofa and 2 matching loveseats. I selected a non special order fabric so the anticipated 4 weeks delivery could be met as I was playing a deck party. On the fourth week I called to check on the order and no problems were known. I called again on the fifth week and 'any day now' was the answer. Again on the sixth week I was told the third party had run out of the fabric as it was popular and they needed to reorder - delivery date unknown - party delayed. On the seventh week, some fabric had been found but delivery date unknown. June 27th will be the eighth week and party time...NOW I am told the sofa and 1 loveseat should be here 'any day'...but more fabric is needed to complete the order and that will take another 6-8 weeks. JoPa will loan me cushions so the party can go on...BUT if I had known all these delays I could have ordered specialty cushions OR at some point I could have choosen a different fabric. I realize JoPa has not control over the third party provider but I had to call to track down my order status. It was only on the 7th week when my daughter called them and got forceful that we had any reaction - or that anyone from the company inititated a call to me. So, my first experience was horrible. And I would probably go out of town before dealing with them again. Any other company would have compensated you for all this 'inconvenience' and I should have tried to cancel my order but they have a BIG disclaimer on the receipt.
