on 02/15/2016 & 03/23/2016 I purchase an [redacted] Refrigerator and a [redacted] Washer and Dryer. Both Products have issues and Jordan will not fix.On Feburary 15,2016, We gave a deposit of $537.50 using our Visa credit card to purchase a Burgundy [redacted] Washer & Dryer from Jordan appliances with a 1 year warranty to cover service, parts, labor & full warranty. The purchase of the Set was $1500.00 and the 1 year warranty was $265.00 a total of $1765.00. On 03/15/2016 We paid the remaining balance with cash $1228 at time of delivery . When the item was purchased Jordan stated it was brand new never used it was in the show room on display and in excellent condition and nothing was broken or wrong with the washer & dryer. We called Jordan 5/10/2016 @ 1:25pm & 1:30pm We left him a message asking him to call me back because we haven't heard from him in regards to the repair of the fridge and now the washer and dryer isnt working and need to be fixed as well. I have tried to call him on both of his numbers and no answer #[redacted] & [redacted]. we purchased a washer & dryer from Jordan that is clearly defective and its obvious thats the reason he had the product to resale because who ever had it prior to him it wasn't working properly, Jordan the seller promised to uphold his warranty. We actually paid an extra $265.00 for a warranty that he is now breaching- which means he offered a warranty to collect extra money from us. We have reached out to him several times to fix the broken products he have sold to us that is under warranty I have documented a good faith effort to give him the seller chances to either fix or replace the goods or pick up his product and refund our money back to us and he haven't done either. This is no fault of our own, we did not cause any defect by misusing the washer and dryer and the the seller refuses to honor the warranty that we paid extra for.Desired SettlementThe products are defective and he doesn't honor his warranty- we would like for him to pick up his products and refund us our money back in full.

Complaint He delivered a washer different than as agreed. Does not return calls or honor 30 day warranty still in effect. Lots of excuses. Bad customer servicePurchased washer [redacted] model [redacted].7/17/14 for $320.10 Paid with [redacted] via his cell phone. Have electronic receipt.Noticed loud noises in spin cycle on same day. I reported it and no response. feel unit will fail. He gave me several excuses, promised to call and come look but nothing. Originally we agreed on one washer but he sold it for more and stuck me with the one I have. The was not professional in his ways. He came late at night after texting and talking with him as he gave me excuses to his arrival. Also did not replace dryer vent to dryer properly (stackable) which caused condinsation. I was not aware and observed water on the fire sprinkler heads n the laundry closet and thought it was bad. Called the HOA and they sent someone out to look. Sprinkler fine. Now stuck with a bill he should be responsible for but good luck to me.Desired SettlementI would like [redacted] to give me a decent washer, install it correctly and pay the bill to the sprinkler guy.[redacted]Thank you,Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone:[redacted]Contact Email[redacted]Case #[redacted]Revdex.com5540 Munford Road Suite 130Raleigh, NC 27612-2655In reply to this case; I did deliver a washer and dryer to the customer [redacted] in July of 2010. I agreedto deliver the unit to him because the customer informed me he had no transportation. He paid after installation once we got there and the products were already installed and tested. Everything was working great for him.. We realized upon arrival that we had to deliver and take the washer dryer up a steep amount of stairs that we had no previously agreed to. We are a small company with only myself working and one other person every so often to assist me with the units. I informed the customer previously that a washer dryer kit was required for the installation of this specific stackable unit. He informed me once I told him about this and that it cost extra. He said to disregard that extra kit required for installation. We strive at Jordan Appliances to assure 100% customer satisfaction for all customers. But many people we serve are on a budget and inform us to hold off on some extra required expenses required for our appliances we sell to work properly for them. The washer and dryer was fully tested prior to selling and once installed with A noise because the kit required we did not install with the unit. At the customers request. He informed me he could not afford anything more because he is paid on the first of the month so there was no flexibility in terms or his budget. The 30 warranty is already way over the date. I have received in recent weeks many threatening and intrusive text messages from Mr. [redacted]. We are by law and by right at Jordan Appliances to refuse service to any customers that threaten us or come across as aggressive. We had offered to provide the customer the kit required for stackable units if he agreed to pay the $85.00 extra dollars for it. He still insisted that the issue was our doing and refused to pay for the kit. Then the issue was out of our hands. The warranty also does not cover a unit making noise because customer cannot afford to purchase the required parts to ensure a successful complete installation. If Mr. [redacted] would like to pay for the kit $85.00 we will go immediately and properly install which will fix the noise issue. If not, we can refer him to a appliance repair professional for further help. We wish to resolve this issue as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience to the customer. We have done all we can thus far to resolve the issue. If the customer wishes to purchase the extra required kit, we will come and install it. We make nothing on those parts. That is price at our costs and we will cover gas. Also the installation. If he will discuss the matter with a calm demeanor and professionally, we are more than happy to work with him to resolve all this in a efficient timely professional manner.Best regards,[redacted]Jordan Appliances, LLC.[redacted]

The business offers a one year guarantee on all appliances however when an appliance is damaged or needs repair the business fails to fix the problem I purchased a dishwasher, stove, and a refrigerator from Jordan Appliances about two months ago and I was guaranteed a one year warranty if any damage or replacement was needed.Jordan was my sales rep.The total amount charged was $1,350 + 400 on delivery. The ** refrigerator purchased was damaged because no ice production occurred,to much condensation and water is leaking on the floor from the refrigerator. I noticed the damage when I connected the refrigerator to the water being the next day it was delivered to me. Payment method was cash. I immediately called Jordan to let him know of the issue so he could come look at the refrigerator. After several calls he finally answered didn't come till about two weeks after the call after constantly calling. For example, one day I called at 7:30pm and he said he would arrive in two hours however he did not show up. When he finally decided to come he sort of looked at the refrigerator and he said it was too much for him and he could not fix it. Since he said he could not fix it he told me to go to the business and he would replace it to a new refrigerator. When I went to his business in Durham where I originally bought it he did not want to replace me the refrigerator we had agreed upon. He told me to do whatever I wanted even take him to court but the only way he could replace the refrigerator was if I payed him more money. Since I did not give him more money I kept the damaged refrigerator. /////Desired SettlementMy resolution for the business is to get a refrigerator replacement of equal value without having to pay more. /////

Jordans Appliances sells broken and faulty equipment and does not honor their warranty. Unprofessional and shady.[redacted] Jordan sold me a washer dryer set and a refrigerator and none of it works right. The washer makes loud knocking noises and constantly beeps. Jordan has no idea how to fix it. The refrigerator leaks water, does not make ice and never gets cold enough. We have lost hundreds of dollars of food because of it. He came to our house one time to try and fix it and had no idea what he was doing. He makes every excuse you can think of and acts like he is stupid and doesn't know what's going on to try and get out of it. He even asked me for a beer and tried to light a cigarette in my house while he was working. [redacted] Jordan is dirty, unprofessional, a liar, and a crook. Now he wants us to bring the refrigerator to him so he can try to fix it again because he says we live too far away (40 min). We are not the first people this has happened to. He has been sued multiple times and is under investigation. Desired SettlementWe want a full refund of our money. Period.

Jordan Appliances utilizes unethical business practice since they did not honor their warranty by exchanging the defective dryer sold to me. On or before October 31, 2013, I met Jordan at his storage unit with the intentions of purchasing a refrigerator, washer, and dryer. I purchased all three items refrigerator ($500) and a set of front loaders washer/dryer ($800). He gave me a receipt with a two year warranty that includes exchanges and repairs and a 90 money back guarantee. His price included delivery and installation. He delivered the items, installed them and was paid in cash. Five days later, Jordan was contacted because the refrigerator was leaking water and was not getting cold. Likewise, the dryer kept cutting off and would not stay on. The dryer would give an error message and turn off abruptly. Jordan came back to the home and made an exchange for the refrigerator, however, he did not exchange the dryer. He suggested that I can pay more money for a replacement set. I refused and wanted an equal exchange or for the product to be repaired. Jordan then promised that he would exchange the washer and dryer set. A week later, Jordan made no arrangements to replace the washer and dryer. I then called and text him weekly for several months for a replacement. He would not answer the telephone or abruptly hang the telephone up. He then stated that his repair technician would call and email me a date and time to come to my house. Jordan did not practice 100% satisfaction with his product, customer service, or warranty. I am seeking a replacement washer/dryer that works properly. Desired SettlementI am seeking an exchange as promised by Jordan for a replacement front loader washer and dryer.

On November 23, 2013 my husband and I purchased a GE Front Load Washer for $500 from Jordan Appliances for my son. (We also purchased a GE Fridge for $300) Knowing these units were used we asked for a service agreement, Jordan agreed to a 2 year Service Agreement. He promotes his products on Craigslist and his own website as 100% Customer Satisfaction, 90 Day Warranty, Free Delivery, Free Installation. Jordan delivered the units free of charge, the installation was dropping in the garage (he did not install either product). After installation of the washer by my husband and son, the unit leaked. We returned the first set of hoses and purchased better ones. Unit still leaked. Jordon did return to the home and tried to charge me $125 for used hoses, I would not agree to that since he agreed to a service contract not to mention the initial 90 Day Warranty. After installation of the hose, he said the unit was fixed. I asked him to stay to make sure so I did not have to have him return. He refused. After his departure, I ran a load of wash, the spin cycle did not work. We reached back out to Jordan and asked him to pick up the washer and return our money. He did return with another washer and wanted to exchange the unit. It was an inferior unit and not what I originally purchased. He would not fix the washer in question. The only way he would repair was if we brought the washer to his shop every time the unit was not working. As most know, an impossible task. After much discussion, I asked him to leave the property. On 12/10 I called GE and paid for a service call at the cost of $89.95. On 12/13 the unit was diagnosed and the problem was a bad pump and pump motor. The cost to repair is $394.64. Again, we called Jordan and asked for him to honor what he advertises100% Customer Satisfaction, 90 Day warranty and service agreement. He would not entertain any of those options. Please note we are only asking for the washer to be refunded. The fridge is fine, even though, we had to install ourselves. I will also point out he noted what I drove and said $500 should not matter to me. $500 does matter and all we asked from him was to have the unit we purchased to work, he refused to honor.Product_Or_Service: GE Profile WasherOrder_Number: XXXXXXAccount_Number: XXXXXXDesired SettlementDue to the fact Jordan Appliance has not agreed to work with us from the onset of this purchase, as agreed to, we wish to have the machine removed from the premises and a full refund for the washer. He has not honored his commitment for the warranty and 100% Customer Satisfaction. He also did not deliver as expected with installation. Due to the leak and the non functioning motor, this machine could cause serious damage to the home.Business Response We at Jordan Appliances are extremely sorry for the inconvenience that has been caused to any single customer for any reason. As a small business, and legally, we are allowed to deny service or further contact with any customer for many reasons. When a customer comes at our employees in an aggressive, threatening manner while verbally assaulting us as well. Which in fact was the case here. This customer was informed we DO NOT install appliances and bring them up a second floor of a private residence. Insurance or not; we are a very small private company. It is was too much of a liability. The customer in this case requested a particular certain product, we delivered, we waived installation because they agreed to us dropping it off in their garage where they would then install it themselves. At Jordan Appliances we do strive for 100% customer satisfaction every day. When we do not achieve that, every single person here feels responsible. Again, our sincere apologies to the customer. We attempted to make right the situation but this client was not interested in any type of common ground. Thank you and best regards from Jordan Appliances.Final Consumer Response The customer making the complaint was never verbally assaulting. I tried to work with Jordon and he was not willing to cooperate. As a matter of fact, he spoke to me in in a foreign language and used hand gestures I am unfamiliar with. He told my daughter in law to be she was uneducated and he would only deal with men not woman. Contrary to what has been stated, there has not been a waive of any fees...we paid full asking price and I have the receipt as proof. As for reaching common ground, again not true. He was unwilling to repair onsite or take back the item. We were the ones that compromised and said we would install and did not ask for any funds in return for doing so, we also agreed to bring the washer to the garage so he could retrieve. Again he refused to repair or take the washer back. The only reason I really purchased because it came with a service contract and warranty. Again,I am asking for my funds to be refunded and the washer removed from the premises.
