to a reputable dry cleaner for deep cleaning. Unfortunately, due to the level of cleaning required for smoke-damaged clothing, some items were shrunken in the process. The claim for the clothes identified by the consumer recently was submitted to the insurance company and is pending. SCCS is not sure what service the consumer believes was not performed. SCCS understands that being displaced from one's home after a fire is very stressful, and SCCS is sorry that the consumer is not happy with the amount of time required to complete the job. SCCS has been in recent communication with the consumer in a good faith effort to resolve the outstanding balance owed under the contract, and would like to resolve any remaining issues to everyone's reasonable satisfaction.
