Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I am waiting for an apology The only reason I got a response to my concern is because I filed a complaint and I wrote an email to the senatorMrL*** said he has no time to provide me a written explanation, isn't this his job I want an apology for rude and disrespectful conversion , and the fact that he called me stupid for not understanding my bill , and expects me to have a printer ( we don't all make $175k like him)I am really upset about the way I was treated by Reed and Janette, no citizen should have to go through stress and pain just for wanting an explanation about their billI am upset that he said he doesn't have time to send me an explanation and that he won't do that even though he did , it's not acceptable I pay every bill that belongs to me and I have the right to ask for an explanation.I am upset that he threatened me that my water will be shutt off if I don't pay it but he didn't want to proved what I asked for
Sincerely,
*** Garic

We have been in open communications with the customer regarding her concern since before she filed a complaint with the Revdex.com. She seemed unsatisfied after multiple attempts of trying to explain to her that we had to estimate her usage for a few months because of hardware issues. Once the problem with...

the meter was corrected, her actual usage was higher than the estimated usage, which lead to a higher bill than the customer expected. She was not charged for any more than what she actually used during the period of time in question. Below is the email exchange with the customer and our General Counsel. After this exchange, the customer seemed to accept why her bill was higher than she expected.____________________________From: Reid L[redacted]

Subject: RE: Invoices
If you take the earliest figure
from the June invoice (column “Previous Meter Reading”) and subtract that
figure from the latest invoice for October (column “Present Meter Reading”),
and divide by five (months of usage), these are the figures: 120 – 22 = 98 Using
this approach, your average consumption has been about 20,000 gallons per
month.  Your actual consumption, however, could be higher or lower.
Just be conscious of your water sue.  If you need additional information,
please ask.  Thank you, Reid L[redacted]____________________________From: [redacted]

Subject: Re: Invoices
Thank you for the clarification .
If you provide this information to me on the beginning
instead of causing problems as I asked there would be no need for me to
send a message to Revdex.com and a complaint to the senator , and a letter to
get gephart.
Can you give me an estimate amount of what my water bills
should look like going forward?
Thanks

[redacted],  Here is the paperwork (attached) you requested during
our telephone call earlier this week.  They are copies of your invoices
for culinary water use.  I’ll walk you through them.  The first
invoice is for the month of June (Statement Date).  You consumed 17,000
gallons of water (Column “Present Meter Reading” minus column “Previous Meter
Reading”).  Your meter was read by an employee of the District (column
“Read Code ‘A’”).  The amount owing is shown in the column “Charge.”
The second invoice is for the month of July (Statement Date).  At about
this time, you received a new meter with telemetry capability; the meter
transmits via radio to us your water consumption information.  Because of
that, the meter wasn’t read and you weren’t charged on your invoice for actual
water consumption.  You were charged only the “flat fee” of $3.00, which
is the on-going, customary charge for all retail customers for maintenance,
replacement, etc.  The next invoice is for the month of August (Statement
Date).  Notice that the column “Previous Meter Reading” reflects your usage
from the June invoice.  Your meter wasn’t read by an employee of the
District and the radio transmitter on your meter (not the meter itself) had
technical problems, so your usage was estimated (see Code ‘W’ in the column
“Read Code”).  Estimates are based on the consumption for this household
over the prior year; the assumption is that occupants will have similar water
use patterns.  Your estimate was for 17,000 gallons (column
“Usage”).  The next invoice is for the month of September (Statement
Date).  The explanation for this invoice is similar to the explanation I
made for the prior month.  An estimate (column “Read Code”) was made that
you consumed 17,000 gallons (column “Usage”).  The last invoice is for the
month of October (Statement Date).  The telemetry on your meter
transmitted your information to us, so an estimate was not made (“Read Code
‘A’” in column “Read Code”).  You were charged for the consumption of
47,000 gallons (“Present Meter Reading” minus “Prior Meter Reading”).
Your invoices can be found and read online.  If you prefer a payment plan,
please call Ann at ###-###-####.  If you have additional questions or
concerns, please call me at the same number.  Thank you, Reid L[redacted]
