Our reputation with multitudes of other customers remains flawless...unfortunately every business comes across a client such as Ms.***It is not possible to please everyone all the
time but we at Jordan woodworking make every attempt to keep our customers satisfied as we realize that word of mouth is our best advertisement and promotionWe have gone the second mile in trying to maintain a wholesome and trustworthy relationship with this client
In the beginning of our relationship we wrote a contract with her in January of The amount of the contract was for 5200.00$Our agreement was that she would receive the cabinets after the full amount had been collected by usIt is our custom to manufacture the cabinets after half the money is received as a down payment for materialsWe then collect the remaining balance upon the customers inspection at our facilities at which point we release the cabinets into the customers care
We collected no money from this client until the middle of February at which time she gave us 1900.00$ which is 700.00$ short of the amount we agreed upon to start the manufacturing process
We started the manufacturing process despite her being short of the initial down payment with the understanding that she would have the remainder of the balance in days
We completed the manufacturing of her order at the end of February and contacted her to come by and inspect them and pay the remainder of the balance before we would deliver them to her houseAt this point in time she informed us that she was short of the money and could not pay the balance at that time and did not know when she could manage to come up with it
We agreed to hold the cabinets at our business site until she could come up with the remainder of the balanceShe finally came up with the remainder of the balance at the end of June and came by our business with a contractor that she herself had hired to do the installation of the cabinets at her residenceBoth parties agreed that the work was complete and done in a manner that was satisfactory
We delivered the order to her residence the next day after receiving the balance of the money that was dueAt this point in time we had fulfilled the portion of the contact in regards to the cabinets themselvesOur agreement was that her personal contractor would install the cabinets and after he had properly installed them we would return to get measurements for a counterpart that was part of the contract
When we went back to measure for the counter top we found that her contractor had installed the cabinets incorrectlyWe agreed to dismantle and re-install the entire kitchen correctly for a nominal fee of 500.00$ She agreed to this and we proceeded to dismantle and re-install the cabinets in the correct manner so that we could complete the jobWe then manufactured the counter top and installed it completing the job above and beyond what we were required to doAt the end of the job we ask the customer for the remainder and in response we got a call from her brother named *** telling us our work was substandard and that they would not pay the remaining balanceThis was the end of our business relationship with this customer
