I refinanced my mortgage a few months and the servicing company that picked it up is cis home loans.I have just made my payments as usual to them through my billpay.This company cannot recieve electronic payments from billpay (the only bill I have that doesnt) so my bank sends off a check.This past month I noticed that my bank payed them but they stiil had not cashed the check.I called cis and TWO people from there said they did not recieve the paymentAfter calling my bank and putting a stop payment on the check I called back cis and put the payment on a bank card.The next day the check was cashed by them and my card was charged.I called and told the manager and she said they still had not recieved the payment even though I had a copy of the front and back of the deposited check in front of me.After a lot of back and forth they finally figured out that it was paid.This company is very unorganized and seems like they are operating out of a general store in Mayberry.We are looking to refinance again with our own bank who is in the 21st century.Avoid a loan with cis if possible

I highly recommend anyone financing with CIS Financial Services think twice; case in point since they had my refinanced mortgage account since February to December it was just complete ChaosI constantly called them even though they are only open five days a week in reference to nonpayment of my escrow account, property and homeowners insuranceWebsite access is only for making payments and nothing else i.eyou can't access your complete account to validate escrow shortages or make additional principal account payments etcWhen you call or email you get totally different answers to your payments and run around about what's your actual monthly payments and escrow amount shortagesThis is the worst mortgage finance company I've ever dealt with since owning homes from (Kansas) to (New Jersey) and finally (Georgia)I've never experienced this type of incompetence in dealing with a Mortgage financial companyThey caused me almost a complete financial hardship when we had to make and send additional payments to resolve Escrow shortagesAs a retired US Army retiree for over years of service and have bought three homes from to the present, I highly recommend you stay away from this mortgage companyAs they state it's really for small town customers they're not with the 21st Century and the computer age
