Review: Jose Diaz contractors repaired flagstone on my patio. This involved regrouting, replacing and resetting certain stones, and sealing. The work when finished looked just fine. He was paid in full, $1186.00. Now several months later many of the stones they reset have come loose and much of the grout is crumbling away. When I first complained by phone a man [redacted] was sent out to look at it. He was the same man that did the bid on the job to begin with. He agreed about the work was not holding up and said there would be someone out to take care of it. No one ever came out, so I called. I called several times and was told numerous times that someone would be in touch. No one ever called. I called again and finally I talked to a gentleman who said he would take care of it and scheduled me for August 12th, 2013. A few days before their scheduled day to fix my patio, I called and talked to Mr [redacted] personally to confirm the time on the 12th. He at that time stated that he personally would like to come out to my house a see the inferior work. He did come out and I showed him the work that wasn't up to par. He agreed, we had a friendly conversation and he said that there would be someone out the 12th of August, as scheduled, to do the needed repairs. Well no one has showed up and no one has tried to contact me. There is no where else for me to go,; I have talked to the Owner whose word is no good.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the job done right. They know the job was not up to standard, not even close. If this work cannot be completed by Jose Diaz Contractors, I would like a refund of my money!

Jose Diaz Tile Contractor, Inc. has agreed to do repairs and since on 8/29/2013 have completed the repairs on the flagstone at the [redacted] Residence. I am attaching copies of the original proposal and invoice for the repair work complete in 2012. Item #3 on the proposal was not approved so it was not done. Invoice reflects the repairs completed which were to replace 4-5 pieces of flagstone and touch up some grout which was billed on time and materials for 8 hours. We also did cleaning and sealing of flagstone at patio.

Jose Diaz Tile Contractor Inc has completed the repair of flagstone which Mr. [redacted] has requested. We only repaired a few pieces of flagstone and touched up grout at patio for Mr. [redacted] at the time of the original repair work. Jose Diaz Tile Contractor Inc. cannot be responsible for flagstone patio that was done by someone else.
