blowing onto his property and to an issue regarding the locking of the access gate to the property I performed work for. I talked to Mr. [redacted] and did on two different occasions pick up debris from his property regardless of whether it belonged to the job I was performing on the neighboring property or had blown from other work being done in the area. There were two other contractors working on or near this property such as a roofer, and painter in addition to the General Contractor work I performed. There were also many cigarette butts and cigar tails on the ground but none of my workers or myself smokes. I can say that the property that Mr. [redacted] owns is weed laden, and had a large amount of various debris that he owns that we did not touch. I did pick up trash such as roofing materials, paper cups and the like to keep the peace in the neighborhood. I was contracted by Mr. [redacted] and not Mr. [redacted]. I should have required Mr. [redacted] to communicate any issue through the party I was contracted with and not deal directly with Mr. [redacted] as I need to answer to my customer and not his neighbor. That leads me to the issue regarding the locking of the access gate. Mr. [redacted] gave me a key and requested I always lock the gate unless when I arrived it was unlocked; at that point I followed his direction and orders. If the gate was locked, we would lock up for security per his direction. I cannot concern myself with the neighbor's package delivery issues as I was requested by my customer to lockup. This leaving the gate unlocked needed to be an issue between Mr. [redacted] and my client Mr. [redacted] to work out if Mr. [redacted] didn't plan on being home to deal with his package deliveries. I hope this brings some clarity to the issues presented and can assure you that I left the site as clean as when I arrived to perform my services. Should you like to discuss this further please contact me at the above address. Sincerely, Jose O[redacted]Contractor
