Jose Tejas Restaurant

Review: My fiancé was a guest at jose tejas, as we have been for MANY years.I asked my girlfriend to pick up something for me and while she was there, to get something with her friend and I would pick up the tab. While eating her meal, she placed an order to go and was refused. Upon refusal, she was informed by management that the food would not taste good the next day, and therefore, they do not allow orders to go. She then decided that she would eat some of the food in the restaurant. She was then refused because they were afraid she would eat a little and ask to wrap it up to go. Had I known this unbelievably ignorant business practice, I would have never sent her there in the first place. Jose Tejas is refusing PAYING customers to determine how/where they would like to eat the food they order. HOWEVER, if you place and order, dine in, and don't finish it completely, they will ask you if you would like a box to take it home!!! This business practice is completely absurd. Denying customers the right order what they wish, and if they choose, take it home with them. If there food is not good enough to last a 30 minutes car ride, they should not be serving it to customers in their establishment.Desired Settlement: I believe an explanation/announcement is in order to their faithful (for now) customers as to their unruly business practices. As well as a credit for the amount my fiancé spent unjustly.

Review: I recently went to José Tejas and they failed to provide proper seating for my handicap friend. My friend has Muscular Dystrophy and is in a wheel chair therfore he has limited seating available to him. Rather than provide one of the available tables in the accessible area they made us wait. The problem here being that as the few tables which were accessible were filled by those a head of us our wait time is increased as my friend isn't able to just sit any where I'm the resturant.Desired Settlement: If a handicapped person requires special seating allow them to receive it as soon as possible, not make them wait.
