Review: Jos. A Banks is advertising on TV a sale of sport coats for $69.00 7/17/14 &7/18/14. The manager & staff had none of this merchandise, knew nothing of the sale being advertised, & could not order one for me on line. They said they were a new store had no clearance items & their internet was down. They showed me a Navy blazer on a sales lady's smart phone, but by the time I got home they could not be purchased on line. The TV commercial says Nothing of these coats being clearance. The Manager knows Nothing of what is being advertised on his behalf by the corporation. I drove more than 40 miles to go to this store and they offered me a alternative for $300.00. This is a bait and switch & it is WRONG!I discussed this w/ a family member who stated he had the same experience at an LA. Apparently it is a common company practice.Desired Settlement: I would like the corporation to specify that local stores do not carry the merchandise offered so that I could have called first to ensure the store carried the advertised items! I would like to be able to find the advertised items on line. I would like the Revdex.com to sanction this corporation for false advertising.
