The email sent from the customer on May 15th notifying us the second time windows were noticed with smudges:"I found some more big smudges on a couple of windows this weekendAgain, you can only see them when the sun is shining on them so I did not notice them right awayRechecked the entire house & these are the last of them."There are pics of the pics are the same window of an interior kitchen window, which when I was there for the initial call-back had checked and touched up as the homeowner was looking over my shoulder According to me the window looked clean at that time It passed my test and the homeowner was satisfied at that time Note that this window does not come apart fully for a full clean.We charge window cleaning per window For the window that is shown with a streak/ smudge on it we charge $per window We will give $back for this window even though this was cleaned and looks clean unless the sun is shining on it perfectly, at which, shows a streak/smudge.As far as the kitchen window that was clean when I was at the home and personally touched it up the first time, we will give back $for that despite it being cleaned and checked over twice already.A $rebate is all we will offer

Customer stated that we 'were not willing to work with them' in regards to the issue of a couple of missed marks on some windows.  2 days after the job was finished I emailed the customer to see if they were satisfied with the work that was performed.  Customer replied back via email...

stating:  "Just wanted to let you know that I was very pleased with the job your guys did on our windows & will be more than happy to leave you a nice rating on Angies List." Customer also left some pictures of a window over the kitchen sink that had a couple of smears left on it "only in the morning when the sun was shining on them."  I arranged to stop by the next day in the morning and cleaned up that window.  The customer also had me touch up one other window in the kitchen and after our meeting she expressed her satisfaction and we parted ways.12 days after the work was finished I received an email from the customer stating that there are other windows with smudges.  Pictures of these were sent in email as well.  This is when I replied: "When initial call-backs happen all problems, issues and concerns need to be addressed during that visit.  I did see your pics and sorry those were missed but it should have been addressed at my visit. Thanks"This policy is in place so that we are not taken advantage of over time.  Window cleaning demands perfection and we strive for that every day, but sometimes we miss the 'mark' and try as best as possible to resolve it.

Pic 11 & 12 are of the same window which is located in the downstairs family room. Pic 13 is of an upstairs bedroom window facing west. Revdex.com did receive pic of dirty kitchen window (which DOES come completely apart) but did not post it.  Using owners math, on a per window reimbursement basis, that would come to $50 (20+15+15), which would be fair & just looking at it from his perspective. But looking at it from our standpoint, which is how much will it cost us to have someone come in and fix his sloppy work, because he refused to when we asked, - who are we going to find for $50?  A lot of places charge that much just for their 'trip charge'. We are not trying to rip him off or swindle him. We just want our windows cleaned & the cost of doing it should not be on our dime.
