Review: This letter is to file a formal complaint against Joseph Electric, Inc., [redacted] owned by [redacted] allowed [redacted] to illegally use your city of New Orleans Electrical credentials/ license to file for job located at [redacted] Louisiana. Illegally allowing someone to use your Electricians credentials to file a job that you did not contract to do is a crime. Mr. [redacted] was contracted in March 2012 and paid full payment May 2012, ($9000.00) 16 months ago and at that time (upon full payment) all work ceased by Mr. [redacted] until intervention by the Electrical Division of the City of New Orleans.Based upon documentation sent to Inspector [redacted] office, and other law enforcement agencies, Mr. [redacted] s office intervened to try to resolve said matter. It has now been a total of 18 months and the work is still not completed. This criminal intent, negligence, illegal filing, electrical deficiencies, greed and fraudulent business practices caused by you, Mr. [redacted] has cause me economic losses, stress, physical and emotional pain. I am indeed a victim of fraudulent business practices, placed upon me by both Joseph Electric company and [redacted] Electric company both working out of the city of New Orleans, and State of Louisiana. It is indeed a criminal intent for electricians to knowingly contract with a customer, when he knows he does not have the correct city/parish credentials to do said work. It is equally criminal intent when one(Joseph Electric Company)and ([redacted] Electric company) falsifies records and illegally files for a job as in my case.Desired Settlement: Upon completion of electrical deficiencies, and before final inspection, I am requesting that an impartial Licensed Electrician, for which you will be responsible for any fees necessary to secure such person as recommended by the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors Compliance Division be responsible to assess said job.This assessment is to ensure that job is done in compliance with Electrical Codes as set forth by the State of Louisiana, City of New Orleans and contract you entered into with me, [redacted], said owner of property located at [redacted]. Additional compensation for financial losses due to gross negligence on your part as electrician of record.
