RE: Response to Complaint from patient, *** ***
Please find enclosed a copy of a letter that we had previously prepared but added some
additional information and mailed it to ow patient, Mr*** on April 2ndThis
should
satisfactorily explain the situation at handFor the record it seems apparent that Mr*** filed
this complaint prematurely for his situation was unique in that he had purchased the wrong
insurance or there was a major mix up with United Concordia which they informed us that only
he, the insured, could resolveWe have adequate proof of his insurance coverage, including his
own acknowledgement of such which is in his own handwriting on our “New Patient
Registration Form”The insurance company said that he was listed as a child and would not
pay the claim after we submitted it with his current age etcHe was never sent a bill or even
asked to pay a certain amount yet as we were waiting to see if he could correct the problem with
his insurance firstThere are many papers involved in all this documentation of our records; but
we can send them to the Revdex.com upon your request
We always take the extra effort and initiative to aid ALL of our patients in working with their
insurance and helping them with their financial concerns regarding their treatment at our office
Mr*** did not return our phone calls and did not give us the opportunity to work with him
regarding a resolution to this unusual insurance problem even before he filed this complaint
Currently we are awaiting a response to his letter and hoping that he will contact our office
so that we can completely remedy this situationPlease do not hesitate to contact me at our
office number below if you require anything additionalAnd please note, that in years of
practice DrDeFrancesco and our office staff have not had even I complaint ever filed to the
Revdex.com (or anywhere else, that we are aware of, for that matter)

Review: I signed up for health care w/dental so I thoughtI contacted the office Joseph G. DeFrancesco, DMDfor service through a referal, I scheduled an appointment but later that day I went to cancel the appointmentdue too not being covered, the office secratary [redacted] told me she looked up my soc number and said my policy was good and I was covered too come in.so I did, weeks later I got a rejection letter for my insurance for service rendered from Joseph G. DeFrancesco, DMD640 Lincoln AvenuePittsburgh, PA 15202For $75.00 the office wants me to pay $170 now? I wanted too cancel the appt beforeDesired Settlement: I would like to either pay the $75 that was rejected by my insurance not a penny more. or have the bill tossed as I never would of went to the appt but not for [redacted] telling me I was covered and I also payed a co pay
