My name is [redacted], I have been the owner of Quality Tune Up on [redacted]. for the last 15 plus years... What I believe keeps us in business are the morals we practice since I been here, and the 2 main principles we follow are respect and building trust with our customers....

With that I would like to say I appreciate MR. [redacted] for choosing us to service his vehicle but also state that what he claims couldn’t be further from the truth.. Mr. [redacted] came in for an oil change on Oct. 16th. We performed an oil change and replaced the air filter on his [redacted] ptcruiser.. Mr. [redacted] wanted to get his brakes done, but after a suggested visual brake inspection at no additional cost we found the brakes to be in good condition.. Mr. [redacted] was assisted that day by [redacted] our service writer. After services were performed he payed and picked up his car from the parking lot, the lot closest to the road by the Quality tune up sign... Around 4-6 pm later that day we get a call from Mr. [redacted].. He states he spoke to [redacted] which is false, he spoke to an employee named [redacted] stating he lost a phone.. [redacted] then asks him what kind of phone did he lose and Mr. [redacted] said it was a white iPhone and requested [redacted] to look in the lobby room where he was waiting earlier.. [redacted] said sorry no, at which he then stated somebody stole his phone from his vehicle inside the glove box.. [redacted] wrote down Mr. [redacted]s information and told him he would talk to [redacted] the manager in the morning and discuss the situation and report back to the customer. If a phone did turn up he would call Mr. [redacted]...during the phone call [redacted] also asks the only other employee at that time named [redacted] if he has seen a phone and he said no . That was the end of the conversation... NOTE: Never did Mr. [redacted] mention anything about money missing especially 1,500 dollars during this phone conversation.. so the next day [redacted] told me [redacted] about a phone he found outside the parking lot which was a white iPhone. He told me when he was walking towards his night job at the bingo hall and that he found a phone in our parking lot and was going to drop it off at the front office at our shop the next morning.. [redacted] never brought the phone back because he made contact the night before with Mr. [redacted] and arranged to meet with him to return the phone... [redacted] stated Mr. [redacted] met him at the bingo hall that night to return the phone, and was given a thank you and 10 dollars for his good gesture.. So at this I said thanks [redacted], short for [redacted] and we proceeded to get back to work.. later in the morning Mr. [redacted] comes in and is yelling at [redacted] saying we stole money from his car and that an employee stole a phone. At this time [redacted] is trying to keep him calm while he is yelling and accusing employees of stealing.. During this time [redacted] asks mr [redacted] to join him in the back office to discuss the matter.. I ask [redacted] to come with me to the back office to meet [redacted] and Mr. [redacted].. I then ask [redacted] if he stole any money from Mr. [redacted]s vehicle and he says NO! he didn’t take any money.. he said he only found a phone in the parking lot the night before and returned it to him.. [redacted] also said at that time he was given 10 dollars and that Mr. [redacted] never mentioned anything about money missing during their initial arrangement... MR. [redacted] walks out to call the police.. [redacted] seemed to have a dispute with a coworker and left.. police then arrived and took a report.. when they left mr [redacted] asks me if I can pay him 1,500 dollars and I told him I’m sorry, no I can’t do that.. [redacted] said he never saw or took any money from the car.. Mr [redacted] then rushes into the waiting room yelling he is going to sue us and begins to take pictures of the lobby.. he is insulting the employees, he is dragging other customers into the matter and accusing us of stealing... he is asked to please leave several times, he then starts to point his finger directly into an employees face over the counter saying a number of things such as thieves, liars, etc.. there is video of the whole incident on tape where it shows Mr. [redacted] picking up our metal timing belt display attempting to swing at one of the employees.. Mr. [redacted]s lady friend, possible wife comes into the office and takes a pair of scissors from our pen holder and begins to hold them up as if ready to strike someone with them.. the counter was also being banged against by Mr. [redacted] where there is clear damage marks made by their actions. During this time [redacted] runs outside to call the police.. Police show up and take a report and we simply asked the officer if we can have him please leave the premises for he is becoming increasingly threatening .. police leave after mr [redacted] left the premises.. We also have witnesses present willing to testify this is true.

Hi.. Yes, we performed an a/c performance test on our customers vehicle..  Customer stated her ac wasnt blowing cold air, so we started with the perfance test.. We charged the system with correct freon after it passed the leak test and vacuum test.. Ac was added dye to further inspect for any...

leaks.. After freon and dye charge the ac system was working properly, ac was blowing cold air.. Customer approved freon charge and paid the total amount of the service.. We advised all our customers to return 3-5 days for an ac follow up. To inspect for any small leaks in ac system... The next day she came back in stating the ac wasnt blowing cold air... We immediately brought the car in to inspect... We found that while pressing the a/c buttons on and off that the a/c  compressor Would come on but that sometimes it would not.. No freon leaks detected with uv light or electronic leak detector.. When on the ac system works ok... We advised our customer that there is an electrical problem that we would have to look into to find the problem... Customer declined any further work at that time... [redacted] our technician was helping our customer during this time.... We dont feel we should reimburse any monies due to a electrical problem that isnt our fault.. We feel sorry that her ac system is not working.

Customer came in for a check engine light diagnosis.. We performed the check engine light diagnosis.. 85$ found a loose connector that we secured on injector #1.. Running much better than when he drove the vehicle in.. Customer was recommended spark plugs and igniton wires based on mileage and from...

fouled out spark plugs.. Customer declined any further repairs. Customer then requested a visual brake inspection stating brake pedal goes to the floor when applied,intermittenly.. We found front brake pads with 0%pad life.. Recommended front brake rotors and pads and master cylinder based on mileage.. Customer declined any further work... Brake inspection is 25$.. For a check engine light diagnosis half of the charge will go towards repairs, which repairs were declined by customer.. 25$ will go towards brake repairs if repairs were made.. No repairs were authorized by our customer.. If customer wants to return for any repairs mentioned we will gladly credit either $42.50 for the check engine light repairs.. Or 25$ towards the brake repairs mentioned on invoice #86319.. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:

After diagnosing vehicle, found massive misfire causing high emissions. Recommend and advice costumer to replace spark plugs and wires . After approval We worked on customer's car and replaced spark plugs and wires. By replacing plugs and wires we lowered emissions. Even with emissions lowered,...

vehicle failed the smog. After replacing these plugs and wires, vehicle does not have misfire any longer. Also advised customer to replace catalytic converter due to high emissions. Customer drove the car and said  she replaced catalytic converter .After inspecting the vehicle, found  catalytic coverter was not replaced. Car will not pass without. replacement of catalytic converter.
