Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: As I have stated before Mr Brooks is completely attempting to give all the blame to others and is trying not to shoulder any of the responsibilities for the problems that arose during his crews work on our homeFirst just let me again show that none of MrBrooks statements are accurate accounts of any of the events during his time on our home remodel projectMrBrooks says he was on site the first day for hrsIn that time his crew never even placed any plastic protection up which I commented about on day not day as he is attempting to sayThis was stated in the contract we signed with MrBrooks As I said before our only issue is the terribly unprofessional work and his lies as to why my wife and I are not due our return on the moniesSo in other words we paid for shoddy work by persons Mrbrooks himself hired and later said were not up to industry standardsYou hired them not knowing if they could actually do the work as professionals? Mr Brooks has repeatedly lied to us and to your offices as to what the money we gave him was used forFirst he said it was used to purchase materials, which we clearly have shown were bought by us( receipts shown in earlier messages to your offices)Now MrBrooks says the money was used to pay his workersWell I have voice mails and text messages from his workers asking if we can contact Josh brooks as their checks he wrote were bogus and they were not paidThese documents and voice mails can be sent to your offices upon request to prove my caseSo again I say Mrbrooks has lied about that statementBill a guy he hired has said his last check from Mrbrooks was no good and did I have a way of contacting Mrbrooks about his final $dollars which he was owedAs I have said before MrJosh Brooks is not very trustworthy as a business contractorMrBrooks has also said we are not whom we claim to be but he did receive our money from our bank which is under the name of ***, a name he says we are not under on a social media site like [redacted] ***, which seems to be his way of researching his clients, and that we are impostorsMrBrooks has in fact slandered our name as he has called us scam artists, which is exactly what we now believe him and his company to beWe have now hired a new company to complete the work and they have documented all the things wrong that were done by Josh Brooks Construction and Renovation llc and are willing to come to court to prove what we are claiming to be the truth about what the project was like when they came to fix the mess done to our home by MrBrooks crewsIn conclusion I hope your offices check on this business as to it's practices with others that MrBrooks has flim flamed into believing his work to be up to industry standardsAgain I say his work is Buffoonery and I just want others warned before he does this againI will no longer continue this war of words with MrbrooksNow our only recourse is court to try and retrieve our lost moneyAgain Thank you for attending to this matter Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I was lied to about experience from independent contract workers, mistakes were made,I tried very hard to remedy the situation, I offered to pay for tile,I offered to pay for a cleaning crew to come clean the homeMister ***, or mister [redacted] , whom ever he is cancelled the contractAlso, he has been calling me and harassing meThis guy is a scam artistHe is not due a refund as material was purchased with the deposit, it is a common practice to hire off of craigslist for any business

I was on the job myself for the first 3hours, then periodically stopping by the project to check quality of work.I repeatedly told my crew to put up plastic in which a person cannot control the actions of other peopleI had experienced guy pat as the foreman on the job and laborer in trainingMister ***,or mister [redacted] , whom ever he is,asked about the plastic on day Was concerned about the time frame and I assured him that I would get new guysAs far as hiring bill from craigslist, this is a common practice for all employers In the Denver metro area,even I get work from craigslistNot a big deal.ues bill wanted to pull up the tile and start over so we did.bill explained yo Mr that he could soak the tile and reuse it so I agreed to allow him to tryAfter a few days,bill asked me to get more tile so I called mister and misses [redacted] to find out where they purchased the tile in which they insisted on purchasing all materialsThat's their fault not mineI went to floor and decor only to find out that they purchased the tile at another storeI proceeded to the other store to get the tile,and was met with theres box in the state and they could get it for me but it would be a week periodI informed mister [redacted] of this and he stated that this was unacceptable and that we would have to try to reuse the tile and get the job done because he wanted his kitchen backMister [redacted] then called me to stop the job due to a small amount of grout on the painted wall.I went to the home and saw the grout on the wall.I informed him that it wasn't a big deal and that with a wet sponge it will wipe right offMister [redacted] then proceeded to walk me out the back door of the home and told me to get my tools and that I was fired from the jobThis all comes after he had asked me to pay for a cleaning crew to clean his home in which I had offered to pay forMister [redacted] tried to keep some of my tools.then mister [redacted] proceeded to threaten me that this was just the beginning of what's to come.as for me telling mister [redacted] that I would go after him with my lawyer,he had called me several times from d ok different numbers harassing Mr about being reimbursed the I explained to him that this was used to pay wages and that it was non refundable in which he explained that I was messing with the wrong personThis guy is a bad person,and a scammer.he belongs to the group of people that I got the work from,and they are part of the same group that posted the negative comments about me beforeThey are afraid of me taking control of the industry and putting them out of business in which here soon will happenI owe mister [redacted] nothing after he fired me off the job for small complaints that were not a big dealAs for the apprentice, yes,all construction guys do have to start somewhere in order to learn how to do their job
