Review: Hired these people to paint. The job they did was not at all professional. They:-Left drips of paint all over the floor and drip marks on walls-Left behind significant amount of equipment (dirty brushes, rollers, a ladder, tarps) as well as several open cans of paint all over the room-Underestimated the amount of paint by close to half. This could've been avoided with proper measurements. At no point did they offer to go get the paint. I had to leave my puppy alone in order to leave to get the paint; when I returned they complained about the barking. -Did not remove light switches when painting, and did not tape over them. Instead, just painted part of each light switch. Ditto the hanging lamp and the locks on the door.-Got wall paint on the ceiling-Sloppily cut the trim near the floor and at the ceiling-Did not adequately clean the shutters before painting, resulting in gray streaks of dirt-Painted over the shelf brackets on the wall. I had left these up thinking I might use them again, but they were so caked with paint that shelves would no longer go in them. So, I took them down, resulting in significant holes in the walls which now need to be patched and painted-Did not paint the bottom or top of the shelves-Did not paint the furnace-Were an hour late -Did not spackle many holes; did not sand the ones that were spackled; did not seem to paint over some of the spackled holes-Did not provide a receipt despite numerous requests. -Said they'd come back to fix their job at 11AM on Sunday. I arrange my weekend to be available at that time. Then they notified me at 11PM the night before that they decided they wouldn't come, but would send me a check for $100 to cover the cost of fixing their job. I got an estimate for the cost of patching the holes they neglected, painting the spackled areas, cleaning the floors and fixtures that got paint on them and the furnace. The estimate was $300. They did send the money a few days later, but still have not provided a receipt.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund (they already refunded $100; $350 remains) to cover the cost of fixing their botched job, my wasted time, and the disposal of all the equipment they left.
