I'm a flooring contractor and did a wood floor installation and refinished and shower, tub surround, etc, on 2016 third street new Orleans for Jouandot Enterprises and Ron didn't pay me I didn't make he sing a contractor because I trusted him, now he owes me $16.000.00 from the job of the third street , he doesn't answer his phone I went to the office but when his secretary Bria saw me at the door she didn't open the door . I went to the property to see if something has happened but everything was just fine the homeowner already moved to the house. I did the job on a march of 2018 Ron is been asking me to wait because they were going to some financial problem, now he no longer answers no more phone calls or text msg, I'm not a huge company, 16.000.00 was a lot of money to me, it did destabilize my small business. I spent the company saves to pay the people that worked at that job and I didn't get paid back.

Review: I paid to have a house built at 620 Soraparu St., New Orleans, LA 70130.The house was completed on April 30, 2013. I was in Kuwait at the time supporting the U.S. military as a civilian, fixing vehicle electronics. Before the home was closed on, there were discrepancies. Many parts of the project were not complete, and there were distinct problems with the functionality of the house. Mainly, the windows didn't close properly, the fireplace leaked(which can cause mold inside the walls), and the A/C in the attic rained down water into the hallway. The A/C is the only problem he addressed, and he did so months after the problem was originally addressed. One more important detail is that he was supposed to level and sod the property, and that was part of the cost of the house and property. He did not. He built an identical house next door, in which he reimbursed the residents for not leveling or sodding their lawn. He did nothing to alleviate my grievances. I've had 2 contractors look at the house, and they both estimated around $20,000 of work was needed to complete the house and fix problems with the way it was constructed. I spend thousands of dollars fixing problems myself. I also spent a lot of personal time doing this. Without the lawn being leveled properly, rain water can collect under the house, and the pillars that support the house will eventually fail.I've done what I can so far to fix the problems with the house. [redacted] can be intimidating. He said he would fix the discrepancies, but did not. He even left the lock box on the front door for 5 months. I asked for the combination multiple times, but he didn't even respond with that. He used the lockbox to enter my home without permission months after closing and removed a housewarming gift that he'd originally given to my fiance and me. My roommate at the time said she was scared/startled by this, and I was shocked.Desired Settlement: I would like the problems with the final construction of [redacted], completed by Jouandot Enterprises, to be noted so that other consumers can make an informed decision before consenting to enlist the services of this company.
