Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Once again, simply outright lying about this situation is NOT a resolution Nothing Mr D [redacted] says in response is true I have had other, real contractors take a look at the deck and they absolutely agree with our determination that this work is improperly done, shoddy, not plumb, he used materials which were not needed and only more expensive (this is separate from those materials not used on the job at all, but for which he charged me), and curiously lacked in simple materials like enough screws to hold down the boards.I was often yelled at, harassed and frightened by Mr D [redacted] into letting things go which I should not have He was WELL AWARE that there were projects to complete and that the deck was unfinished His last conversation with me, he told me that he needed a part for his power washer and would return to wash the house, close up the fascia and paint and repair the wishing well He chose to skip away and never return because apparently he has no work ethic, or ethics at all? At the risk of sounding like a broken record, he is a liar, and a person who takes money from people without giving the proper and complete work which was promised in return His continuing lies mean nothing, because ANYONE who wants to come see the result will see quite obviously that he is lying I also have all the receipts and paperwork in which he charged for things not used and promised things he did NOT do I have the truth and the proof on my side Period Now make this right Mr D*** You know the truth too and perhaps your conscience will wake up to that Regards, [redacted] ***

D*** ENTERPRISES LLCGold Road SouthElizaville, New York 12523###-###-####July 22,2015To whom it may concern:It is my belief that this complaint is coming from the customer's daughter as she is the one who has made harassing telephone calls, also threatening to notify the RevDex.com and Consumer Fraud if I did not send a refund check of $5,to the customer. Before signing the original contract the customer stated that she had to check it over with her daughter first and that she had previously received other proposalsUpon my original inspection of the deck before coming up with a proposal, I found that the deck, which is 8-10 ft.above ground, was never anchored properly with joist hangers on the framing under the deckOne third section of the deck was collapsed from the houseThe metal underneath the deck (illegal and unsafe) was filled with water, knats, wasps and rotted woodThe complete deck had to be removed and re-installed as the customer did not want to buy new Trex decking.I did not scam the customer out of a lot of money as the customer was aware that any needed materials would be an additional costIwas hired not to repair her deck but to take it apart and re-install it properlyI did power wash her house and deck and also repaired her wishing well. After we removed the metal that was hanging down that was damaged I explained to the customer that the metal that was underneath the deck cannot be installed for safety reasons and building code due to the weight load of the deckThe customer than instructed us to have it removed from the property which we did by Father &Sons Clean UpCrew. There were no boards that were cut uneven or sticking up causing a trip hazardThe railing is not pulling away from the house as we did not even remove the railing or re-install itAny siding that may be bent was caused by the deck separating from the house and had nothing to do with usI did tell the customer that we broke her thermometer and door wreath and offered to replace it which she declined. After finishing the front deck over the garage, which was approximately X ft., we then commenced work on the deck on the side of the house, approximately X ft., removed the old roof on the shed and replaced it with new membrane and then re-installed the deckUnder the decking we installed X 4s , etcto support the deck over the roof as you cannot nail through the roofThe facial boards were not installed for drainage purposes.I did not double charge her or charge for items not used on the jobNor did I leave materials or a mess anywhere as I am very concerned about cleaning up every day after getting done. The customer wanted a small space between each deck board when we re-installed the decking because of the previous problems she encountered, which we did. This was a job that was not rushed and took approximately a month to do and the customer was there every day and asked questions and I explained everything that we were doing which she approved ofCustomer reviewed all bills for lumber and materials for at least a day beforeissuing a checkShe also signed off on the job that she was completely satisfied with the work done before she issued me a final check.I have pictures of the job from start to finish which can be submitted if necessary.Respectfully submitted,D*** Enterprises LLC

D*** ENTERPRISES LLCGOLD ROAD SOUTHELIZAVILLE, NEW YORK 12523###-###-####August 27, 2015To whom it may concern:The customer was not overcharged as she did not pay for items that were not used on her job, such as grass seed ,etcand was not given duplicate bills except for the extra copy of one that she claimed that she misplaced. The customer was out every day while we were working and inspected the job on a daily basisWe did not install new decking- it was the existing decking which had to be removed and re-installed with joist hangers and a new roof under one section of the deck. Re-installing the metal under the decking would cause the deck to collapse due to the weight load and buildup of waterThe metal was damaged and the customer told us to throw it away which was done by*** * *** *** ** ***Our contract clearly stated that the customer was responsible for any materials that were needed which she was fully aware of.The customer signed off that she was completely satisfied with work rendered before issuing a final checkI have enclosed a copy of that form with this response. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Mr D*** seems to be under the erroneous impression that simply continuing to deny and LIE about the problems with his work are the way to resolution. His response contains nothing but lies.Everything I previously stated about the shoddy work he did do is correct. I have pictures, attached to prove it. There are absolutely boards which are uneven, poorly cut, not properly secured and hazards in general. I have also had reputable and respected contractors out to see the work and they concur that it is one of the worst jobs they have ever seen. But even a layman can see how bad it is.He did NOT power wash the house. He said he needed a part for the washer and would return - but never did. He did NOT paint or repair the wishing well as he claims (I am trying to attach more photos, but they don't seem to go through - please let me know how I can send those as well). How you could rebuild a deck, yet somehow not touch the railing, is beyond me. That is impossible. The fact that it is pulled away from the house is absolutely his fault, and it says clearly on his "contract" that he would remove "deck, railings, deck boards". It's right there under #1. See attached copies of the receipts which Mr D*** gave me and charged me for. There are definitely double charges, charges for materials NOT used on this job (water softener salt, grass seed, sink strainers, etc, etc???) AND charges for one receipt from Lowe's which is actually an estimate, not an invoice. There seem to be way more materials charged for than actually needed on the job as well. We previously requested an itemized list of all the charges and how they total up to the $15,I paid, which he has refused to supply. Perhaps that could have cleared up some confusion and at least we could have gotten to the bottom of that issue. I was often flustered by him and his nasty attitude and couldn't fully process what all the receipts were until later - I needed help even researching all the receipts which are printed in item codes and abbreviations. He thought he could just slip some extra receipts by this old lady, I guess. Also, he claims in his response that it was understood that any additional materials would be an additional cost. That's not what his "contract" says. That indicates anything above and beyond the scope listed would be extra, but I requested no extras, and kept getting charged more and more by him. I trusted him at the time to be honest with me and stupidly kept paying to the tune of $4,over what was quoted.I absolutely did NOT tell him to dispose of the metal roof from under the deck. You'll even see on his own paperwork, that it was to be re-installed. There are solutions to how water runoff could be handled. Perhaps that is his lack of knowledge showing. He never approached me about breaking my personal belongings, nor did he offer replacement. Lies. He did indeed leave a huge mess of materials, including screws and nails all over my driveway. Additionally, dirt was tracked into my home. More lies. The idea that the fascia is not there because of drainage is utterly and entirely laughable. Not only does EVERY proper deck have fascia, and you don't see in to the crap underneath, in conversations with him in recent weeks, that is the only thing he even came close to admitting was incomplete and half heartedly said he would get to that at some point. LIAR.Lastly, if anyone was harassed in any way, it was ME, when he came to my house to look at the job again at my daughter's kind request. He claimed everything was A-OK (except the fascia) and proceeded to berate me on my own property by telling me no one in town likes me, and that I am the one with a problem. We have done NOTHING but try to work with Mr D*** in very friendly ways, in order to come to an amicable resolution for us all. All he wants to do is claim the job is done perfectly and lie and deny. His favorite move is to yell, threaten and hang up the phone when he doesn't feel like dealing with someone. He is the most unprofessional person I have ever had the dissatisfaction of having to deal with. His bullying scare tactics work on a lot of people.Bottom line is the job is done very, very poorly at best, and is incomplete, but he refuses to admit any of that. Fortunately, I have all the truth and proof on my side. The $5,refund I am requesting won't even cover fixing what he messed up and completing the tasks he never even touched
Regards,
