Journeypure will not change an incorrect diagnosis on my discharge summary.
I am expected to go before the pharmacy board to get my license back but noticed journeypure added an incorrect substance abuse diagnosis to my discharge summary. I have been calling multiple times a day for the last 3 weeks. I will get put on the phone with someone, they will say they are going to help me, and then I only get their voicemail from that point on. No ever calls back. This has happened even with the director. My hearing can not be scheduled until this documentation is correct.

Desired Outcome

Remove stimulant use disorder, severe from summary based on it being erroneous.

Journeypure has since reached out and made all requested corrections. Case is resolved.

COMPLETE SCAM artists.
They draw in addicts with mental health issues with promises of receiving care from licenses mental health professionals!!
My husband has been a diagnosed bipolar addict for most of his life. I've spent years trying to get him the appropriate treatment for his co occurring disease (Bipolar Disorder and Addiction) He has gone to rehab before to only be treated with another Opiate (Suboxone) and went right back to using drugs. I have sacrificed myself and my children's well being in an effort to help him get help. It recently got too much to handle. He spoke to me about his desire to finally go to rehab to get him the treatment that he needed. He was hopefully about finally receiving the help that he desperately needed and, explained that Journey Pure would help him by allowing him to see a Psychiatrist who would be able to prescribe him the correct Bipolar meds. He expressed his displeasure with just being prescribed another opiate which was just the route that he had taken many times before, at another rehab with NO results. Well after about 2 weeks in, he admits that they put him on Suboxone because of his "age"!! I was FURIOUS! He has been this route before and has only continued on his road to addiction! He has abused Suboxone and will only continue!!!
I have reached out to MULTIPLE people, (counselors, clinical directors) at this rehab who have YET to even call me back!!!!! This place is a JOKE!! I have sacrificed my life to help this Man for YEARS, and these people at this joke of a rehab that he's ONLY at because of his desire to save his family, doesn't even have the courtesy to return my calls regarding my concerns about their RIDICULOUS Opiate treatment!! They advertise that they treat "Co-Occurring Conditions" yet he had still NOT seen a Psychiatrist in 2 weeks and has NOT been prescribed the correct bipolar meds!! I call and get a voicemail every single time!!! You can NOT treat an addict without involving the family members who have been living and supporting them for years!! Do NOT send your loved one to this place!!!! You will just be fed a bunch of LIES and will be throwing away money!!!

Desired Outcome

Include his FAMILY (contact myself) and provide adequate care from a Psychiatrist like promised!!!!

We take our patient care very seriously and our staff strive to help everyone in these situations. Unfortunatly, we cannot properly address this complaint without violating the patients HIPPA rights. We are always receptive to discussing any issues directly with anyone (with patient consent).

Charged more by the facility than what my insurance claim summary states I owe. Also received bills I was not aware of nor that I agreed to.
Let me start by saying these employees have been amazing from start to finish: ***, ***, & *** My issue is with the billing business office and the fact that ***'s voicemail is always full!!! Tried to call her 2018 & 2019 for an itemized statement. Upon getting my itemized statement, I noticed I paid the facility more than what my claim summary stated I should have paid. I received an itemized statement, finally; not from *** either. I noticed some discrepancies and reached out to my insurance company. Upon review, I should have only paid $156 to the faculty but instead paid $810, $644, & $644. So according to my calculations I paid $2,098 & thus far have only been refunded $589.71 and am still owed $1352.29. My insurance company has also attempted to resolve this issue but again, ***'s voicemail is full and insurance billing is out of scope for the financial counselors. Insurance verified I'd met my deductible and out of pocket, $156 was for Coinsurance. Another issue is my itemized statement reflected my insurance was billed for more days than the 2019 stay (billed for 20 only stayed 18). Despite my best efforts, no one can explain to me why I had to pay the facility the amount I paid. If *** is not available, avoiding calls, or no longer working there, one of her coworkers or supervisor should field her calls. I didn't want it to come to this, but one bad apples spoils the whole bunch.

Desired Outcome

I would like to be refunded what is owed to me.

The insurance company does not pay for room and board. The patient was at the PHP level of care. The patient was aware and signed for the cost of services which does include out of pocket and room and board. The patient did get a refund but the patient did not take into account the room and board which was stated in the cost of services agreement.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I was charged the same amount for two different stays. The second stay reflects 20 days billed when only 18 days/17 nights were completed. Twelve of those reflect room and board were paid by my insurance company. It's not adding up that I paid over $800 for a stay that lasted 17 nights (12 nights covered by insurance) and over $800 for a stay that lasted 27 nights (8 nights covered by insurance.). If it's room and board then I've been overcharged. Also, in 2018 I'd met my deductible and out of pocket expenses and coinsurance. In 2019 I only owed $159.29 for coinsurance but had met my deductible and out of pocket expenses. My insurance company has tried repeatedly to contact them but they don't answer the phone and the voicemail is full. I would like to attach my claim summary and the itemized statement from JourneyPure to support my claim.
