To Whom It May Concern;
I am writing in regards to case #XXXXXXXX.I am writing in regards to the claims the case #XXXXXXXX has listed with their resent stay with our propertyThe issues that have been stated in this case had been resolved
prior to reporting to Revdex.com of Northern IndianaWe wish that if there had been any other issue that the hotel would have had the opportunity to resolve themPlease see attached documents to support that the claims listed have been addressedI have attached email correspondences that the contract was updated and sent but also signed and returnedGuest was also emailed regarding payment for second night to see if the plans for all individuals would be responsible for their own payment stillThe hotel has yet to receive a response to that particular question, but did indeed receive comment of concern for family members to check in with out the "head" of the organization being presentUpon the day of check in many members of the group had arrived prior to the 3pm, check in timeSeveral of these individuals we were able to be accommodated, but there were a few rooms unfortunately notAt no point did any of the groups individuals have to wait beyond check inSupporting documents can be found for any other claims listed, but not previously discussed in the above stateIf you have any further questions or I can be of help in anyways please feel free to contact us here at the hotel

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/08/30) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
***'s response is inaccurate on several pointsI rebut them here, in order of personal importance to me:
The issues have *not* been resolvedOn 08/03/16, *** advised during our telephone conversation she would return *** to my credit card for the *** charge levied for one of the rooms I rentedNo such credit has appeared on my cardThe room in question wasn't even the kind of room I had asked for originally it was a king with a pullout, as opposed to a two-queen roomI agreed to the *** settlement to bring the matter to a closeFrom my point of view, I should have been charged *** twice for the room, as opposed to the *** and *** I actually was chargedI am still willing to accept a *** credit to my card to bring this matter to a close*** is the person who offered to give me the *** credit and failed to do so timely, which is why I filed this Revdex.com complaint
I responded via email to ***, before the visit, in an email dated 07/25/16, advising the hotel that all charges were to be put on my credit card
Every member of my group was aware of the p.mchetimeSome arrived in town early, but everyone killed time until before checking inIf that strains credulity, please know that I can produce if need be a time-stamped Facebook Messenger chat log that shows exactly when each party was checking in, and the hassles they encountered at that point
The documentation *** produced is not representative of the agreement she and I reached long before my family's vacation beganI never received, as promised, a revised contract that included all rooms to be rented for nightsI'm sure a reasonable person would understand why I would calculate each party's charges on the documentation I did have in hand, to wit: Mom and ***'s room 'should' have been *** a night, plus fees and taxes, as opposed to the *** and *** I was ultimately charged(Adding insult to injury, I gave Mom and *** back *** upon realizing they hadn't received the requested room setup, since I presumed I would be charged *** nightly for the king/pullout group rate.)
In short, I lost more than *** personally on this dealI was willing to let it go after *** offered the *** credit, but since the credit hasn't shown up I'm not letting it go
I am attaching here some of my documentation on the matterPlease note the nightly rate charges for the 9th room, which was requested as an addition months in advance of our tripThere was plenty of time to send me a revised contract, or at the least advise me that the additional room wouldn't be subject to the group rates offered
It is not often that my family and I spend literally thousands of dollars in the space of hours at one placeI do not believe I'm asking too much of Best Western to follow through with its proposed solution to the matter

[redacted] did come in and make reservations. She made one for the night of July 20,2017 for one night and one for July 21,2017 for one night. The room for July 20, 2017 she checked into that room that night signed the registration and...

received the keys. The next night her family member or friend checked into the reserved room that was reserved for that night. Both reservations had a signed registration card. We do not give out room keys (entry cards) to anyone making future reservations. Room keys or entry keys are only given to a guest once they check in and sign the registration form. She checked into one room on the night of July 20,2017 and received that rooms keys because she had checked into it and signed the registration form. The rate for the night of July 20.2017 which was [redacted] plus tax because it was a Thursday. On Friday the rate was higher at [redacted] plus tax. Which was our normal summer rates. Again the registration forms where signed that had the rate she was paying on them.

prior to reporting to Revdex.com of Northern Indiana. We wish that if there had been any other issue that the hotel would have had the opportunity to resolve them. Please see attached documents to support that the claims listed have been addressed. I have attached email correspondences that the contract was updated and sent but also signed and returned. Guest was also emailed regarding payment for second night to see if the plans for all individuals would be responsible for their own payment still. The hotel has yet to receive a response to that particular question, but did indeed receive comment of concern for family members to check in with out the "head" of the organization being present. Upon the day of check in many members of the group had arrived prior to the 3pm, check in time. Several of these individuals we were able to be accommodated, but there were a few rooms unfortunately not. At no point did any of the groups individuals have to wait beyond check in. Supporting documents can be found for any other claims listed, but not previously discussed in the above state. If you have any further questions or I can be of help in anyways please feel free to contact us here at the hotel.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/08/30) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
[redacted]'s response is inaccurate on several points. I rebut them here, in order of personal importance to me:
The issues have *not* been resolved. On 08/03/16, [redacted] advised during our telephone conversation she would return [redacted] to my credit card for the [redacted] charge levied for one of the 9 rooms I rented. No such credit has appeared on my card. The room in question wasn't even the kind of room I had asked for originally it was a king with a pullout, as opposed to a two-queen room. I agreed to the [redacted] settlement to bring the matter to a close. From my point of view, I should have been charged [redacted] twice for the room, as opposed to the [redacted] and [redacted] I actually was charged. I am still willing to accept a [redacted] credit to my card to bring this matter to a close. [redacted] is the person who offered to give me the [redacted] credit and failed to do so timely, which is why I filed this Revdex.com complaint.
I responded via email to [redacted], before the visit, in an email dated 07/25/16, advising the hotel that all charges were to be put on my credit card.
Every member of my group was aware of the 3 p.m. check-in time. Some arrived in town early, but everyone killed time until 3 before checking in. If that strains credulity, please know that I can produce if need be a time-stamped Facebook Messenger chat log that shows exactly when each party was checking in, and the hassles they encountered at that point.
The documentation [redacted] produced is not representative of the agreement she and I reached long before my family's vacation began. I never received, as promised, a revised contract that included all 9 rooms to be rented for 2 nights. I'm sure a reasonable person would understand why I would calculate each party's charges on the documentation I did have in hand, to wit: Mom and [redacted]'s room 'should' have been [redacted] a night, plus fees and taxes, as opposed to the [redacted] and [redacted] I was ultimately charged. (Adding insult to injury, I gave Mom and [redacted] back [redacted] upon realizing they hadn't received the requested room setup, since I presumed I would be charged [redacted] nightly for the king/pullout group rate.)
In short, I lost more than [redacted] personally on this deal. I was willing to let it go after [redacted] offered the [redacted] credit, but since the credit hasn't shown up I'm not letting it go.
I am attaching here some of my documentation on the matter. Please note the nightly rate charges for the 9th room, which was requested as an addition 2.5 months in advance of our trip. There was plenty of time to send me a revised contract, or at the least advise me that the additional room wouldn't be subject to the group rates offered.
It is not often that my family and I spend literally thousands of dollars in the space of 48 hours at one place. I do not believe I'm asking too much of Best Western to follow through with its proposed solution to the matter.
