LANDLORD MANAGER STATEMENT:prospective tenants called for an appointment to view a bedroom apartment I met them, showed the property to individuals & was told there were more people that would make the total of interested in renting the apartment; I have never seen the other prospective tenants I explained that they each needed a security deposit of $400, a copy of their financial aid application from IUP (Indiana University of Pennsylvania), references, &/or other proof of ability to pay rent I was asked to save the apartment for them until they had their security deposits They were then told that we do not hold apartments, its handled on a first come with security deposit and proof of ability to pay basis for each semester- then we proceed with execution of a lease between the tenants and the owner This was explained to them at the showing, and in subsequent phone calls.I received your letter and the customer information indicated there was not the prospective tenant's address that he had given to me upon our first meeting There are many apartments currently available in the Indiana area & many near the IUP campus I'm not quite sure why this has even become an issue.Respectfully submitted, Joyce MO [redacted] , Broker/Owner Joy Realty, Inc
