In response to your letter dated 04/12/As much as I appreciate Ms [redacted] as a customer, I find her complaint offensive and incorrect In October 2016, Ms [redacted] did come in to purchase some jewerly In particular, it was a chain for $and some other items for a total of $ Her family was a frequent customer of another store that I worked at prior to opening my open jewelry store Given the history and trust in her and the family, I allowed her to take the chain and other items, with a deposit down and the verbal agreement she would make monthly payments until it was paid off She did do that, and this is paid up in full When she arrived to make her last payment, about months since the original day she took the items, she started to tell me I overcharged her for the chainThis chain had a lighter yellow hue, and was stamped 14k We even in fact tested the gold purity in front of her with a acid that tells the karat content We charge at that time roughly $35/gram for 14k gold She informed me that she brought it up to the pawnshop that I use to work at Given I left that pawnshop in not such good terms, the employee at the pawnshop talked bad about me, and assured Ms [redacted] that this was not worth the money On the last day that Ms [redacted] was in to pay off this jewelry, she told me all about her going up to the other place and what took place I assured her it was absolutely 14k, as tested I explained to her that I allowed her to take this home on the first day, that she could make payments as she pleased, and also that the pawnshop that I previously worked at would have nothing nice to say about me or my store In the end, I offered her to return the chain back to me, for a full refund She didn't want to do that Instead she wanted a partial refund back in cash, and I declined and said that is not an option So my questions back to Ms [redacted] would be several: What store would allow a customer to take unpaid merchandise with them on a handshake deal? Why wait until months go by and bring up the questions of overpay or karat purity? If the pawnshop said she overpaid, then why didn't she purchase same or similar chain for less money there? Ms [redacted] didn't mention the watch battery change and other repairs that we did not charge any money for? If so unsatisfied, why not take a full refund for the $when offered? So to conclude, as much as I appreciate Ms [redacted] contacting Revdex.com, her statement is offensive and unnecessary to say I am illegal If I was another race, color, creed or gender orientation, NONE of that is necessary to mention At this point, I am not interested in offering Ms [redacted] anything more or less that to take back the exact chain for a refund of $ Please let us know with a response to this letter or call the store at ###-###-#### to arrange a specific time for a refund of the chain, if that is the route chosen Yours Truly - Luis [redacted] Joyeria Jelly

I am rejecting this response because:

In response to your letter dated 04/12/2017. As much as I appreciate Ms. [redacted] as a customer, I find her complaint offensive and incorrect.  In October 2016, Ms. [redacted] did come in to purchase some jewerly.  In particular, it was a chain for $750 and some other items for a total of...

$1250.  Her family was a frequent customer of another store that I worked at prior to opening my open jewelry store.  Given the history and trust in her and the family, I allowed her to take the chain and other items, with a deposit down and the verbal agreement she would make monthly payments until it was paid off.  She did do that, and this is paid up in full.  When she arrived to make her last payment, about 3 months since the original day she took the items, she started to tell me I overcharged her for the chain. This chain had a lighter yellow hue, and was stamped 14k.  We even in fact tested the gold purity in front of her with a acid that tells the karat content.  We charge at that time roughly $35/gram for 14k gold.  She informed me that she brought it up to the pawnshop that I use to work at.  Given I left that pawnshop in not such good terms, the employee at the pawnshop talked bad about me, and assured Ms. [redacted] that this was not worth the money.   On the last day that Ms. [redacted] was in to pay off this jewelry, she told me all about her going up to the other place and what took place.  I assured her it was absolutely 14k, as tested.  I explained to her that I allowed her to take this home on the first day, that she could make payments as she pleased, and also that the pawnshop that I previously worked at would have nothing nice to say about me or my store.  In the end, I offered her to return the chain back to me, for a full refund.  She didn't want to do that.  Instead she wanted a partial refund back in cash, and I declined and said that is not an option.   So my questions back to Ms. [redacted] would be several:   What store would allow a customer to take unpaid merchandise with them on a handshake deal? Ms. [redacted] didn't mention the watch battery change and other repairs that we did not charge any money for? If so unsatisfied, why not take a full refund for the $750 when offered? So to conclude, as much as I appreciate Ms. [redacted] contacting Revdex.com, her statement is offensive and unnecessary to say I am illegal.  If I was another race, color, creed or gender orientation, NONE of that is necessary to mention.  At this point, I am not interested in offering Ms. [redacted] anything more or less that to take back the exact chain for a refund of $750.   Please let us know with a response to this letter or call the store at ###-###-#### to arrange a specific time for a refund of the chain, if that is the route chosen.  Yours Truly -  Luis [redacted] Joyeria Jelly
