***This customer just built a new home, when we initially tested the water we had *** *** *** ***The water was actually coming out GreyWe installed a Iron system and a Ultra filter for the clayShortly after we had a lot of Methane Gas in the water, not sure how I missed that from
the initial test but the house was under construction and I did the test from a outside garden hose, however I couldn't get any flame from the gasAfter the methane showed its true colors and created a lot of spitting from the faucets the customer wasn't to happy and wanted us to take the system outI assured them that the Ultra filter for the clay was fine and that we just needed to replace the Iron system with a Methane systemI paid $to send a sample of their water to a lab to get the exact chemistry make up I consulted with the * corporation on the lab results* is a year old company with a lot of highly educated water engineers at their disposal Once the results came back we installed the exact system that they needed. I sold them the methane system at cost. I told them that this would treat the water perfectly and it didThe water was crystal clear with no iron or methane gasThe system was installed properly, and there were no issues that caused the system to not remove the clay, iron or the methaneWhen we initially installed the methane system there was a cracked rubber o-ring that had the smallest seep of a drip, we ordered a new one and installed it as soon as it arrivedThe seep caused no issues with customer, we had a small can under it that caught ever bitFor months the system worked perfect then we get a call from the customer stating there was a odor in the water, we sent a tech promptly at no charge to the house and we increased the chlorine dosage buy two, quarter inch tablets, we did not double it(The system uses a pellet dropper to chlorinate.) About weeks later the customer called and said they notice a pressure drop in the unitI personally went to the house to check on it, I could not notice any pressure drop at allThe water was crystal clear still with no iron or methane gasI actually was staring at the shower while the system was on and on bypass and could not detect any difference at allI wanted to record the water pressure at the shower with my phone for proof but the customer wouldn't let meThe customer states that they had Coliform in the water, that could of happened when they put the system in bypass for a week to check the pressure issue they thought they hadWe have installed quite a few of these systems and we know exactly how to work on them, but when the customer tells us there is no pressure and we go there and the pressure was 60psi with no visible signs of a pressure loss upstairs in the master bathroom it makes it very tough to find a problemThe times the customer called over a month period we were at their house immediately to take a look at the unit at no chargeAt no time did the customer ever call and say that they had clay, iron or methane issueOther than the small drip at the beginning and the pressure issue ( that we couldn't notice at all and I had one of my techs with me that was a NYS certified water well contractor that has drilled wells and installed pressure tank and pumps for years) the system never stopped removing the water quality issues. PsThe way the customer described the pressure issue was that they stated when we first installed the system the shower head sprayed the water at a angle close to the corner of a window in the shower and when we were there to look at it it was at a angle slightly below the corner of the windowI said, could someone have moved the shower head down a little? They said noI could understand refunding their money if the water was still grey from the clay or the water was spitting from there faucet or if they were getting iron stains but I didn't see any of those things at all, I didn't understand their reason for all this. The system has been installed for almost a year now, we will offer to remove the system and refund the customer $to settle this dispute

Revdex.com:
As expected the business's reply distorted the facts.Additionally, the business paid $3,800 for the equipment. Their offer to reimburse us $2,500 of the $5,000 we paid them still provides them with a great deal.  They are paying us $2,500 for equipment that would cost them $3,800.  However, we have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to us.  We would like to put the financial aspect of this behind us.
