The vehicle was sold as is with no warranty upon the contract which was signed. See attachment. We make our best visual and mechanical inspection as we can with the amount of inventory we receive. Upon delivery of the vehicle the vehicle was running perfectly fine. Test drove and inspected by the...
purchaser. We gladly and prefer our customers to have vehicles inspected if they wish to have a third party inspection. We never pressure the client to purchase the vehicle. We are honest when asked questions. We were not aware of the damage that was brought upon us. It wasn't after the vehicle was fixed and repair when we were made aware. Even with the As is no Warranty we would had gladly take a look into the problem. We would had not charged any labor fee and done as much as we can on our part. From my understanding of the damage the parts replaced and labor should not had been over$700. With the amount of vehicles we sell it is bound that something unfortunately like this happens. It is not our intentions to sell a vehicle we know will fall apart. No one wants a bad reputation. But as stated in the contracts signed by the party "as is no warranty" we are not obligated to fix or pay any repairs.
I am rejecting this response because:1) The dealer rep said that he was informed of the damage after the damage was fixed and paid for, that is not true. The work was completed yesterday and paid for yesterday. September 17, 2015.2) Dealer advertised as "excellent" condition. According to [redacted], I don't believe this vehicle is in excellent condition.3) I was able to take pictures of the tire that was replaced. Clearly it was worn due to the negligent work on the wheel mount. The dealer should explain in great detail what is involved in their vehicle inspections, how their inspections are performed, by whom, what is their procedure to fix damages in accordance to industry standards and the Sate of California and how they acknowledge that the vehicles they sell and put on the road are safe for the buyer and the public for the State of California.3)I would like to keep this complaint on file for future reference should one of dealers vehicles injures or causes death to a owner of one of their vehicles.
