A friend of mine recommended hiring JP's company to set up an S-corp for me. On 8/26/19, I paid $495 for the creation of ***.. When I received the paperwork, the address was incorrect - wrong address and state! *** one of JP's employees, informed me that she received the wrong information from one of their staff . She informed me that she would close the S-corp and open another one ( I have this in email). Thinking it was an honest mistake, on 11/6/19, I paid $300 for the creation of another S-corp ***. Due to lack of trust working with JP and his staff, I hired another accountant to manage my S-corp ***. I finally started thinking I can relax now, only to be informed by my new accountant that ***A does not have the S-Corp designation. I contacted the IRS and they confirmed that *** does not have the S-Corp designation and that they had nothing in process either. I contacted *** about this and she presented me with a form that she said she submitted on my behalf. Despite never hearing of or seeing this form *** before, it had my "signature" on it and was dated 12/6/19 - *** forged my signature on this document (I have a copyof the form with the forged signature). This form takes up to 60 days to process after which a corporation should have the S-Corp designation. If it had truly been submitted on 12/6/19, with my forged signature even, *** would have had the S-Corp designation by March 2020. I've gone ahead, filled and submitted the form *** on my own.
I wish this was the end of my troubles with JP's company. A random search of the first corporation ***. revealed it was still active. *** never closed it. I went ahead, after contacting the IRS, and filed/paid for the corporation to be closed. When I discussed these concerns via an email, I never received any kind of correspondence from the JP tax company, *** or JP. I've emailed ***y and JP, on 3/2/20 and asked for a refund of the fee associated with establishing *** ($495) since *** opened it in the wrong state and address and then failed to close it. I've not heard a word from either *** or JP since then. Unfortunately, at the very beginning, I had recommended a friend to JP's company and unfortunately, she is in the same situation as I am. Please assist.
I appreciate your notification of the above-referenced concern submitted against my business.As the attached supporting documents will show, once this matter was brought to my attention, I communicated with the customer, to come to a quick resolution that was agreeable to us both.In addition, I would like to note, this was a new client that we had not handled any tax or accounting needs on her behalf. We outsource the incorporating of businesses. This is the first issue we have encountered in that process.

It is April 27th and the check has not arrived. I am just returning from an assignment in another city - assignment started on April 19th. Prior to me leaving, I checked my mail and, of course, there was nothing. JP, although you said the check was mailed out on Thursday April 9th, I decided to give you the benefit of the doubt and just wait (even though a week + had passed since you supposedly mailed the check). How is it April 27th and I haven't received the check JP? *** you are getting a front seat to not only what I've gone through, but also a friend of mine has gone through dealing with JP's business since August 2019. Please assist.
Although JP's Accounting & Tax Services proposed an adequate resolution to complaint I ***, they have failed to carry out this resolution as promised. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
