Sorry for my delay in responding to this complaint. The state of Wisconsin allows garnishments to run for weeks. After that time, the garnishment has to be re-filed, and the costs of the re-filing are charged to the debtor. Once the costs are spent to re-file the garnishment, the
debtor owes that amount. At any time during the 13-week garnishment, the debtor could have contacted our office to obtain a pay-off balance. Please confirm receipt and let me know if you have any additional questions. Sincerely, *
