I HAVE SPOKEN TO CUSTOMER ON THIS MATTER BUT HAS BEEN HARD TO HAVE *** UNDERSTAND THAT HER VAN CUT OFF WHILE DRIVINGHER CAR DID NOT START AT ALL WHEN IT WAS TOWED IN TO MY SHOPI DIAGNOSED THE CAR DOWN TO A BAD CRANK POSITION SENSOR NOT THE CRANK ITSELFWHEN I NOTIFIED HER THAT SHE HAD A BAD
CRANK SENSOR, I RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE BECAUSE WITHOUT A CRANK POSITION SIGNAL HER ENGINE WILL NOT STARTSHE AGREED WE REPLACE THE SENSORWE WENT AHEAD AND REMOVED ALL TIMING COVERS IN ORDER TO GET TO THE SENSORAFTER REMOVING THE COVERS THE MECHANIC NOTICED THE TIMMING BELT TENSIONER WAS COLLAPSED AND TIMING BELT WAS LOOSECALLED CUSTOMER AND EXPLAINED THAT REPLACING TENSIONER WAS NECESSARYCUSTOMER OK'DWE CONTINUED WORK, REPLACED TIMING BELT TENSIONER AND THE CRANK SHAFT SENSOR AS AGREEDAFTER EVERYTHING WAS REINSTALLED ENGINE NOW STARTS, BUT HAS AN ENGINE MISFIRE IN CYLINDER #CUSTOMER WAS TOLD WE WERE DONE, AND HE VAN NOW STARTSTRIED TO EXPLAIN THE PROBLEM SHE HAS WITH THE MISFIRE IN CYLINDER #3, BUT WAS DIFFICULT FOR HER TO UNDERSTAND SO SHE WAS TOLD TO COME DOWN SO WE COULD EXPLAINWHEN SHE CAME DOWN TO PICK UP THE VAN DAYS LATER, I HAD ALREADY PUT THE VAN IN MY STORAGE YARD DUE TO NOT HAVING ENOUGH STORAGE SPACE HERE AT THE SHOPCUSTOMER/*** WAS IN A HURRY TO LEAVE SO ONE OF THE WORKERS OFFERED TO LET HER BURROW HIS TRUCK TO GO HOME IN BECAUSE WE HAD TO GO PICK UP HER VANSHE AGREED TO BORROW CAR, BUT WE NEVER GOT TO SHOW HER AND EXPLAIN THE MISFIRE*** WAS LATER CALLED TO COME PICK UP HER VAN, BUT SAID SHE COULDN'T, IF WE COULD DO HER THE FAVOR TO DROP IT OF AT HER HOMEWE SAID YES.A WORKER DROVE HER VAN TO HER HOME, MISFIRE AND ALLUPON ARRIVAL *** WAS TOLD RITE AWAY ABOUT THE MISFIRE AND SHE DROVE HER CAR/VAN AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD BEFORE SIGNING THE FINAL INVOICE/WORK ORDER AND PAYINGSHE WAS TOLD HOW WITHOUT THE ENGINE EVER STARTING THERE WAS NO WAY TO KNOW ABOUT THE MISFIRE BUT SHE SAID SHE DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY IF HER VAN WAS RUNNING FINE BEFORE IT BROKE ON THE ROADAFTER GOING BACK AND FORTH TRYING TO MAKE HER UNDERSTAND, WORKER LEFT HER HOME*** THEN CALLS THE SHOP THE NEXT DAY TO TALK TO MEJAVIER, I EXPLAINED TO HER THE SAME THING THAT WAS EXPLAINED TO HER BEFORE, AND SHE STILL DOD NOT WANT TO EXCEPT THE FACT THAT HER VAN SHUT OFF WHILE BECAUSE SOMETHING HAPPENED BETWEEN THE BAD CRANK SENSOR AND BAD TIMING BELT TENSIONER WHICH ARE BOTH TIMING RELATED AND A LOOSE TIMING BELT COULD HAVE BEEN THE CAUSE FOR A BELT VALVE IN CYLINDER #AFTER A CONVERSATION WITH HER I OFFERED TO REMOVE AND INSTALL HER OLD PARTS AND REFUND HER MONEY BUT SHE REFUSEDI DIDN'T WANT IT TO COME TO THIS BECAUSE *** HAS BEEN A GOOD CUSTOMER OF MINE FOR A LONG TIME, AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHEY SHE WAS HARD TO DEAL WITH THIS TIME AROUNDI OFFERED TO PUT THE $SHE PAID TOWARDS THE TOTAL OF $1,TO FIX OR PERFORM A COMPLETE VALUE JOB ON HER VANSHE DESNOT WANT TO PAY ANYMORE, SHE FEELS WE SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR HER VANS PRIOR PROBLEM, AND PERSONALLY I DO NOT THINK IT TO BE FAIRI HOPE THIS GIVES YOU A BETTER PICTURE OF THE SITUATIONIF THERE'S ANYTHING I LEFT OUT GIVE ME A CALL AT ###-###-####

Hello, My name is [redacted] and I am responding to complaint I file with your company in August against J R Auto Shop. I would first like to say that Karma is a M.......  I read what Mr. [redacted] said in his letter. I guess he is trying to cover himself.  he called me to tell me that it was the crank shaft. that's all. I gave him the ok to fix it.  when he finished the van. he called to say it was ready. he never told me the car was misfiring or nothing. I called next day to let him know I would be picking up the car, he said it would be ready. When I got there he was not there. His worker called him to let him know I was there. he told his worker that he was on his way there. I waited 2 hrs for him. He Never came to shop. I told his worker that I have a daycare and needed to go to pick up the kids at school. Him worker called [redacted] again and again he said he was on way.  He never shoed up so worker allowed me to take his truck home because I had already waited two hrs. I believe [redacted] was playing games because  he didn't want me to see what a messed up job he did on my car. When the worker brought my van home it was messed up. yes I did pay balance with the promise that [redacted] would come to my house and fixed the problem. I called [redacted] asked him why he did not tell me my van was still messed up. He said he would come and fix it.  He came after I called him several times. He did something tovan and said it was fixed. It wasn't I called him again and he got frustrated and acted like he did not understand plain English.  He is hard to make understand things. He then said I can give money back after he take out his parts. Never did he say he would put old parts back in because he probably threw away. He refuse to fix van. I told him I would report him to Revdex.com. I am a college graduate. I understand things very well. Have known him for over ten years. He messed two of my daughters cars in the past also. I gave him the benefit of a doubt. Boy was I wrong. He has changed since he got his own shop, so so sad. I hate liars so does GOD. Call me to see what I can do next.   Thank You  [redacted]
