MrE*** has received the updated ordinances, but has not responded to requests to follow them or acknowledge themHe knows that it would help our family to have peace in the neighrborhood, but has not given us the respect we need to rest peacefully at indecent hours in the morningThere is also often litter and garbage left behind from the trucksMrE*** saying that the statement was is INCORRECT, no one contacted me until late November. This is in response the above claimI had originally responded o 2/8/16.In reference to the above claim, the date is listed as February 2014, which I think should be After reviewing the account, there has been issues with payment and at one point was turned over to *** *** because
quarters were past due The city is very strict on their ordinance when it comes to delinquent accounts Therefore, when that happens the service is suspended for pickup until the past due balance is paid The payment was made on this account on January 29th and service was restarted When an account is suspended resume service work orders are put in for the driver's to resume pickup at this address I do not have any notes from the driver as to how many bags were out for pickup at this address.The service level is bag for each resident per week A bill is generated and sent to the customer on a quarterly basis and has a due date on it Other than payment issues I have not seen any complaints on service for this address We strive for excellent customer service and hope that this issue has been resolved.In the future, if there is a service issue, please call our customer service department and we will be happy to assist you.If you need any further information, please let me know.Thank you

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I appreciate the credit to my account for the missed week however I was disappointed that the driver insisted that lawn mower parts were in my trashI watched the entire incident that morning from my front window and nothing had been added or removed from my trash (I have photos)It is unfortunate that the driver has chosen to be dishonest.However since the complaint my trash and recycling has been collected in a timely mannerThank you for your assistance in resolving this matter

Dear [redacted]This is in response to the case # above.The customer ([redacted] was the name) had called in for a price on a move out pile, which we sent a supervisor to see what was placed out for pick up as well as the cost. He gave a cost of $35 for the items that were at the curb for...

pickup. This type of pickup requires a special truck. At that time the customer is called with the price and  a workorder is created. The driver would have picked these items up and returned the work order stating they were picked up.  Again this request was made by the customer for the items to be picked up.Once the bill for the pickup was received the customer made several calls disputing that the items were not picked up. They had stated that they were not actually their's but the neighbors items. As a courtesy we issued the customer a refund of $38.  We did provide the service as requested from the customer and strive to provide prompt and reliable service.Thank you  Sherri [redacted] D[redacted]Vogel Disposal Service, IncAssistant Office Manager###-###-####[redacted]

I have reviewed the complaint filed by [redacted].  We did speak to the driver and he did state that lawn mower parts were in the trash can.  It is possible that someone may have put them in there can afterwards which is no uncommon for anyone to do anywhere.  We have not had any...

issues with this account so therefore I will issue a courtesy credit for $4.62 for the week that the service was not provided.If at any time there are any issues that the trash or recycle have been missed, please have them contact the office so we can get the appropriate work order entered to get the customer picked up.  We strive to provide excellent customer service and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused them. I hope this will resolve their issue. Thank you Sherri Ann D[redacted]Vogel Disposal Service Inc  ###-###-####

Upon reviewing this complaint, I have put a work order in for the customer to receive another Vogel Disposal Service 95 gallon cart for his service.  Sometimes in an area where there are homes close together carts do get mixed up and someone ends up with the incorrect cart that was originally...

delivered to them or it comes up missing.  This is out of our control and we try to make we provide good customer service to get the issue resolved when it does.  I have asked the route supervisor to please look around the area for this cart. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused the customer and hope this will resolve this issue. Again I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.  If there are any further issues, please have them contact me directly and I will be more that happy to help get whatever the issue is resolved in a timely manner. thank you  Sherri Ann D[redacted]Assistant Office Manager Vogel Disposal Service Inc

To Whom it May Concern, This response is to a complaint received regarding Vogel Disposal dated 11/12/2017 from [redacted], Case Number, [redacted].  The complaint was received at Vogel Disposal Service on 12/6/2017. My name is David E[redacted], and I am the Sales Manager for Vogel...

Disposal Service.  I have attached a copy of the City of Pittsburgh Ordinance stating exact times of service for the City of Pittsburgh Trash and Recycling Collection.   The complaint states that we are violating the ordinance by collecting before 7am.  The ordinance clearly states that 6am is acceptable for collection of trash and recycling in the City of Pittsburgh. The times of collection are clearly stated in the ordinance and I have personally spoken to Ms. [redacted] and stated that we as a company are not in violation of the City Code for Refuse and Recycling Collection as we are collecting after 6am.  Ms. [redacted]'s claim that the ordinance states that it cannot be collected before 7am are incorrect. I will also forward to you an email that I received from [redacted] thanking me for taking the time to speak with her about this issue which will also contradict her claims that no one has responded to her.  I spoke to her on three different occasions in addition to the email.  Additionally, Ms. [redacted], is not even a customer of Vogel Disposal.  Also, her claim that residents of St. Augustus Plaza have called our company to  complain are unfounded and we also have not received any calls from other residents of the area regarding our trash collection times.  Ms. [redacted] is making a false statement that at she cannot support with any documentation that we have received other complaints. I hope you find this response acceptable to the complaint.  Vogel Disposal Service is operating within the stated City of Pittsburgh Ordinance.  I would appreciate a response to this email to confirm that your organization has received this within the required time line for response to the complaint. Sincerely David *.
