DO NOT DO BUSINESS/WORK FOR J.R. Vinagro
Absolute nightmare working for this company. Vice President (Karen Hilton) allowed things like people to get drunk during an office Christmas party which led to someone singing a racial slur 3 times with ZERO consequences for her actions. Everyone involved lied to make sure they would not suffer consequences. The HR personnel who investigated this incident was also fired after myself probably for investigating the Christmas party.

ONLY SOME of the vendors get paid on time. Vendors, make sure you ask if the check you need has been "mailed out" as many times the accountants are advised to mention they have "cut a check" but many of those checks are held back on purpose & not mailed out for quite some time.

Today is 8/16/2023 & I have been advised that the accounting office is just now paying January bills.

JRV has poor quality in just about everything it does. Tony Ferreira, a member of the East Providence School Committee has raised concerns about the city’s new high school which is a project that JRV took on. Amongst the issues that were mentioned are sidewalks, retention walls being cracked, backed up toilets which need valve replacements, and the retention pond isn’t draining. Feel free to use the link below to see for yourself.

Now, let's try to put this all together. Since we know the Finance/Accounting Department isn't paying bills on time, they probably don't complete too many jobs in a timely fashion. Is that why the Henderson Bridge job in East Providence still isn't completed?

An employee working at a bridge project in Haverhill, Massachusetts, DIED & another was injured. JRV has a history of serious workplace safety violations, including a 2016 incident in which an employee was KILLED, according to FEDERAL RECORDS REVIEWED BY THE NBC10 Boston INVESTIGATORS. You can Google this info. too & imagine what they ARE STILL hiding.

Ms. [redacted] had a service agreement for one- 96 gallon toter to be serviced once a week.  She called to complain about the extra bags, and was told there would be an extra charge because the price she was quoted is only for items that are placed inside the toter.  This is how Patriot...

Disposal prices all of it's customers.  Understandably, she had more trash after Christmas, as did most other customers.  If we were to pick up everyone's extra trash and not charge them accordingly, we would be losing money.  The cost of dumping has risen considerably and we offer very fair and competitive pricing to our customers.  She was not happy with that response, and wanted to discontinue service. Our service rep contacted Ms. [redacted] on January 30 to explain she was in a binding service contract and would be charged liquidated damages.  She said she had already hired a new waste contractor for less money.

Tell us why here...
It is unfortunate that Mr. [redacted]’s fence was damaged.  Unfortunately, accidents do happen and Patriot Disposal does accept responsibility when it is at fault, hence the repairs.  Management was unaware that the repairs were sub-standard until receipt of Mr. [redacted]’s...

complaint and would like the opportunity to correct this situation.  [redacted], the Safety Director, will be in contact with Mr. [redacted] to schedule additional repairs.  Mr. [redacted] may also contact [redacted] directly at [redacted].  This time Patriot will hire a local fence company to do the repairs.
Management would like to thank Mr. [redacted] for making it aware of this situation.  Customer service is incredibly important to Patriot and management needs to be made aware when the company has failed.  Management will utilize this situation to re-educate the staff on the proper policies and procedures to be used in handling any customer complaints so that this lack of communication does not happen again.

I signed a contract with Patriots Disposal in November of 2017
Was unhappy with their service, if there were a couple of extra tied up bags
they were left behind.
Day after Christmas, was a pick up day I awoke to cardboard boxes in the street
and debris flying everywhere
I called to cancel my service, if they were not going to pick up extra, I feel I
deserved a phone call
