Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I am not stupid nor do I lieI know what I was toldI even repeated the amount of $to be sure I heard her correctly and received an acknowledgementI do remember that last year I had called and they had quoted the $price which I rejectedThat is not the case hereLast year they tried to fix the old water heater and could notI was told by the plumber at that time that if I bought one from them they would apply what I paid for their failed attempt to fix the old oneI assumed that when they quoted me the recent price that they had acted on the promise they gave meI had no reason to doubt the price they quoted me, so I agreed to the price and the installationI do not understand why they would go back on the price quotedIf I had known they would I would have hired another plumberI hold honesty as the most important part of any contract or any other interaction with othersI do not lie and know exactly what I heardI am retired from a career in IT and know the importance of ethical business standardsI held to that standard all those years and still doFrom my previous experience with this company I had hoped for a long term relationship with themTheir plumbers are first class folks but at this point it can not be said of the office staffIf this is the kind of ethics that the company management condones then I have no desire to do future business with themIf their management is willing to acknowledge the lack of ethics of their staff and make this right our relationship can be savedIt is in their best interest to do so and I hope they do Regards, [redacted]

This customer called to inquire on prices on a water heater install and was given a price for a gallon electric low boy water heater of $for a complete installHe then mentioned there was room for a standard height water heater and he was then told the price would be reduced by
approximately from the quoted pricemaking his water heater He opted for the standard height water heaterShortly after he was scheduled he called back and reconsidered due the plumbing he noticed would be different and alterations would need to be madeSo he requested we stick with the low boy water heater quoted at There was a misunderstanding with our plumber and he wrote the incorrect charges on his receiptHe made an honest mistake and we will honor the price on Mr*** receiptJ.R.'s plumbing will credit him the to his credit cardMr*** will see his refund of within 7-business days from this response.We apologize fort he misunderstanding and we are glad Mr*** plumbing concerns were resolved

We are very sorry that Mr*** is unhappy with our responseWe do apologize for the misunderstanding and in no way are we saying he is being untruthfulI believe that this is just that, a misunderstandingOur office has credited Mr*** the $we agreed to and should appear on his credit card statementWe pride ourselves in the knowledge of our office staff and the honesty in which they handle each individual caseThe prices of our installations are as previously describe and have not in the last several years installed a gallon low bow at the rate of 1,We are glad that Mr*** found our plumbing staff to be well suited for the jobWe wish him well.
