Home movie
Biggs posted a video of his current residence. Walking around bragging about finally finishing it after so much time and 2 businesses? In the comments I asked if his landlord had seen the video. (Landlord is a friend of a friend). Video was removed or blocked from viewing. If his lips are moving he's lying.

DO NOT HIRE JAY, JERRET BIGGS, JEREMY BATES, JB

ANYONE WHO HAS HIRED HIM UNDER ANY OF THE 8 + BUSINESS NAMES HE HAS USED HAS BEEN SCAMMED THEIR MONEY, BEEN GIVEN LIE AFTER LIE AFTER LIE AND FALSE PROMISES ABOUT HIS SKILL SET. HE IS NOT A PLUMBER, A CARPENTER OR AN ELECTRICIAN AND WILL CLAIM HE CAN DO ALL OF THE ABOVE WORK YOU HIRE HIM FOR. HE IS NOT INSURED, NOT LICENSED BUT SHOULD BE REGISTERED AS A CRIMINAL IN OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM! He is currently operating under the business name Jeremy Bates Contracting Services. Only 2 months ago was operating under Falcon Pro Services. Stay away from him! Ask him for his drivers license to see his legal name. He is using an alias...What a human! pathetic human.

My name is Katie Clark I'm a real customer with a real name and real invoices... and you change your name all the time Jerett Biggs, Jay Falcon, Jay Bates, Jeremy Bates. I believe everything posted on this site. If you such a top notch guy where's all the materials I paid for? Windows, doors, flooring, trim, cupboards, paint, lighting? any work you did do had to be re done. He is not licensed or qualified.

Clifford james is a fake name, and is not a man whatsoever.
This is a troll that changes his name all the time, and loves to “ copy and paste” pics of me and my wife all the time.

Maybe Clifford james can post evidence that I provided him a service with his name on it?

You won’t find it because I’ve never provided this goof anything.

He is a coward and doesn’t even have the balls to say it to my face.

That’s right,I’m calling you out publicly.

Like you, I fell victim to this pathetic human. I can only hope that he gets what is coming to him! I ran into someone that happen to grow up with this jerk in school in the Fort Richmond area, and it seems his is remembered as a scammer then too. History is a good predictor of future behavior. I don't even think he is aware of his own behavior. He manipulates the context of the situation to one that I honestly think he believes to be reality, and his reality is definitely not one shared by the majority of people who have come into contact with him. What is consistent though, are the 30 plus stories from the people he has screwed over, each story is identical to the next story. His MO doesn't change. Just press repeat or copy and paste and you know the ending of how your renovation will end. REPORT THIS MAN'S FRAUD TO THE WINNPEG POLICE SERVICES WEBSITE AND MAKE A FRAUD CLAIM. HIS ACTIONS ARE CRIMINAL.

Horrible man. Took 22K from my niece only to tear a house apart and disappear. He thinks neighbours don't have eyes or cameras and don't speak to my niece. Ponzi scheme is what he's running. Many many victims out there.

In response to the slanderous claim:
Is this the same guy that took me to court, after I backed up my claim, had lots of evidence on the work that we did?
Could have sworn your deposit for an $8000.00 job was $1500.00,and yet over $2500.00 worth of work was done?
Hmmmm,
How about your other rental property where work was done, then when came time to pay,you ghosted me?
Wouldn’t even pay for materials on that one, that’s why this job - a deposit was required before we even worked.
Then you had another contractor come in to one of our projects, while we were working, and got him to quote you the work, after you accepted the quote, and we were working?

Interesting.

You see, there are always other sides to the story, but you are one to call me a “ scammer”…lol
How’d that small claims court go?
You don’t know, because you never showed up.
People with glass houses, shouldn’t throw stones.

well I would like to advise that his name is Jarett Biggs and I took him to court
I'd love to help anyone looking to sue him
Let me know if you need help

Maybe you could Explain exactly what service was not provided, before you revert to” name calling “?
I also notice you don’t use your correct name.how can any contractor correct a transaction without knowing who you are in fact?
Maybe next time address the contractor directly, before whining on a free site, which is not a Canadian site?
Or did you not check?

DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN! He will not finish the work, will never shows up but will take your money.
SCAMMER ALERT! DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN OR COMPANY! CON ARTIST ALERT!
I found Jerett on Kijiji, he was listed as a semi-retired contractor. He came out to my house to give me a quote and was filled with confidence and assurance that he could and would do the job.
Right from the start he was lying about coming over. At 8 am every day he would text “On my way!” or something to that affect. 2 hours later I would respond “are you still coming?” and he would have some excuse like, “my worker is late, I’m at Home Depot, just picking up supplies, just finishing up here,” etc. but would never show up. This occurred almost daily for the entire month that he was supposed to be working here. I kept telling him that I was pushing back my work, so don’t tell me you are coming if you aren’t, as this is causing me to lose money at work. He didn’t care. I told him it took me a year to save up money for this renovation, so I was worried he wasn’t going to finish. He didn’t care. I begged him to come and finish or to drop off the materials, if he bought any, as I couldn’t afford to pay anyone else to do the job. He didn’t care. The man is a full-on con artist. He looks you in the eye and promises you the world and delivers on NOTHING. He was paid to be doing 4 separate things in my home. He did 2 partial things and left a big mess. He came with painting supplies from the dollar store one day. He talks a good game but wont finish anything in your home and certainly will con you out of as much money as humanly possible.
He was given an extension on the end date 3 times. That is, he was given was an extra month to do 2 days’ worth of work. He was never going to do it. I read his other complaints and I saw that he says he won’t give people’s money back because ‘he meant to finish the job’. So, I gave him an extra month after he promised to have it all done. But it didn’t matter because he was never going to finish it. The plan was to steal my money because that is what he does. And that is what he did. I have all the texts to back this up and so does my lawyer and so do the cops.
He responds to our complaints like he has an excuse, or a reason and he didn’t just STEAL our money. He doesn’t. These kinds of people have no conscience.
What he is doing is called Fraud-failure to provide service (after he got your money).
Don’t trust this company or man as far as you can throw him. And please, call and report him to the police, the RCMP, crime stoppers, KIJIJI, the anti-fraud center, and the competition bureau, REVDEX, the Better Business Bureau. Don’t let these scam artists get away with this!

Unable to keep this customer happy with anything we did.
Obviously she believes all contractors are “ scam artists “,even though numerous amounts of work was completed.pretty sad

Do not trust this company!
Update: After he read my review, he replied to my email telling me I'm ruining his livelihood and will sue for libel. I told him that none of what I said is exaggerating, it's all facts with proofs, and I also give him the option to take down this post if he refunds. He agreed and I took down my post right away because the longer it stays the more people can read and ruin his business. But he then goes back to ignoring my emails and not giving me my refund.
I will take down this post when he contacted me back with the refund.
---------------------------
It appears that Jerret Biggs has committed contractor fraud, with the following evidence:
1. Requested a huge amount of down-payment (more than 80% of total work). Total down payment that I have paid so far are: $ 1,925 (Jan 8), $6,200 (Jan 18), $1,925 (Mar 1), with a total of $10,050.
2. No end date of the contract, and after 3 months since the start of the project, only manage to finish around 30% of the work (worth $3,450). Many different excuses at the beginning of the project, but towards the end, blocked my call, doesn't respond to emails and texts and Kijiji messages anymore.
3. Using his BC company name while operating in Winnipeg and appears under 3 different names of company. The one posted in Kijiji is the newest company name with no complaint yet at BBB website, and 2 out of the 3 company listed here doesn't have an actual address.
- JRB General Contracting Services: bbb.org/ca/mb/winnipeg/p…
- J & C Service Solutions: yellowpages.ca/bus/Manit…
- Pacific Wild General Contracting : pacificwildgeneralcontra…
4. The Winnipeg company (JRB General Contracting Services), which is also the company that I sent my money to (using paypal), have similar complaints from 11 other people; no show and didn't want to refund.
5. While the original contract said non-refundable, he did offer to refund when he cannot complete the project and keep postponing it (I still have the text message as proofs). I agree with the idea and started looking for other contractors. 2 weeks later, after I found another contractor and ask him to refund the remaining work, he decided to take back the offer of refunding and wanted to complete his work instead, followed by another 2 weeks of no show and no response.
6. With his latest email that stated no refund, he also promised a contract with an ending date of May 14, with the contract being sent Apr 23. I have not received any contract, and he hasn't showed up with no updates as well.
7. In his recent email that explain his unwillingness to refund, he cc'd an email address [email protected] which can be misrepresented as his lawyer. I called Ed Murphy Law Office in Winnipeg and the lawyer confirmed this is not his email.
8. The construction work is not compliant with the rules and regulations in Manitoba. One of the most fatal work was moving laundry machines right in front of electrical panel, which makes a water source very close to the electricity, and also placing something in front of electrical panel which is not allowed in the case that someone needs to work on the electrical panel, the plug-ins for dryer is not 12ft away from the panel, and the debris from dryer can accumulate in electrical panel. All of those can cause fire in the house. A new contractor that saw this setup, offered to move the dryer to prevent fire for free.
9. He didn't show his liability insurance or contractor license, which further confirm my suspicion that he is not doing the work legally and up to standard.
10. One of the works that he did in the beginning was demolition. The basement is now currently full of dust, and the dryer machine is not connected to the venting. This makes the house dirty, unhealthy, and make us breath the mold that is in the opened concrete wall.
11. Throughout the past 3 months, there were lots of promises: "I'm giving you my word the job will be done on a certain day", but he rarely shows up to complete the work. Proofs of all conversation are also documented.
12. One of his counter arguments would be that I changed the original estimate. The reason is to create a simpler project that's up to standard, given the amount that I have already provided him. The amount is comparable to a quote that another contractor gave me. Even if he disagrees with the quote, this should be discussed, instead of ignoring my multiple emails.

+443

Unrealistic expectations,very little budget.
I also noticed she doesn’t mention all the free work that was completed, including a new faucet, basement work, but still loves to throw around insults.

All she had to do was discuss it personally instead of taking the route she did.

Was very disappointed that we were left hanging for a week and had three confirmed appointments that were a no show by this contractor, all talk no action.
Do not trust this persons word.
Very let down !

Unfortunately,we were unable to help out this customer,as our schedule simply would not allow it.
No funds were asked for prior,as no set schedule was set.
I apologize that we could not accommodate this customer due to our workload and schedule.
This was a repeat customer, and satisfactory work was performed prior, with no issues or negative comments then.
JRB General Contracting services does not understand the comment of" do not trust" in regards to this.
Certainly the customer was satisfied on the first provided service,as a second service was requested.

I decide to cancel the service and request my refund after not showing up to job site over and over. He only refunded 18% of my money once no job done.
Jerett was hired to perform a full renovation to my house washroom which include new flooring , new walk in shower pluming and install toilet ,vanity, patching walls, baseboards basically a full renovation. He charged me $2500 for labor plus $632 material which he said he will need to finish the job while I buy everything else shower , flooring , toilet ext..
The deal was from the beginning before handing the project for him to finish in a timely manner which he said it will take week and work consistent on the project because its the only washroom in the house and I decide to leave the house for him and move in with my friend and hand him a house key so he can perform his work comfortably. I trusted him and paid a total of $1632 as a down payment to start the project. After 9 days of of starting the project all that was performed was the demolish of the washroom and very miner pluming. Jerett was never on time ,showed up to the project not more than 2 days and total amount of working hours he put in this project with in 9 days not more than 8 hours. *** Within those 9 days all I was getting is excuses for not showing up and being busy with other projects. Once I call him he gets upset and says I have more work that is worth more money than my job and I have to wait a little more*** After I got fed up with the situation I decided to cancel the service and find another contractor Jerett said he will refund me my money. All the job that he performed was not worth more than a day of work not more that $500-600 max, but he end up charging me $1325 and refunded me only $306 plus leaving me with a demolished washroom and a very messy situation after 9 days of taking over the job once he know I took off work and stayed at my friends house just so he can finish the project on time as we agreed. *** he *** never shows up to job for days and doesn't even care about what ever situation he put his customer in because of his *** actions through out the project

Desired Outcome

I have nothing personal against Jerett, all I'm asking to refund me the fair amount of money from the deposit I paid because his work that was done is not worth more than $500-600 max and yet out of $1632 I got refunded $306. Please refund me another $750 and I will be okay because that money I need to use to fix the messy situation I was left with because of the terrible service and uncompleted job he performed.

I was hired by this customer to do a small bathroom renovation which was to include:
demo and remove bathtub,toilet,vanity,vanity mirror,vanity cabinet,baseboards,door,shower brackets.
in the scope of work,it was also to include(customer to supply ALL MATERIALS).

Demo was completed and everything was removed. All old plumbing was removed for the bathtub, capped & new waterlines were run-prepped for the shower stall.
Toilet was seized on the floor and had to be cut off.
Toilet supply line was removed as this was leaking.
Bathtub was a 250 lb.cast iron clawfoot tub. This was removed.
Once the demo was completed, the customer decided to change the scope on the flooring to full ceramic tiles on the ceiling & walls. Additional contractor was called in to quote & quote was provided to customer. Customer declined. Customer was made aware that flooring was not level & had to be corrected in order for shower stall to fit properly. Custom plate was made by myself, and customer was advised.customer was not charged extra for this service. Additional services provided by contractor were as follows:
1) pickup & delivery of items required for bathroom renovation(1 pc shower stall(dynasty bathrooms)
2) pickup & delivery of 1 pc toilet,1 pc vanity/sink combination(Costco wholesale-St. James street)
3) pickup & delivery of glass shower doors(dynasty bathrooms)
use of contractor trailer, company vehicle & fuel supplied by contractor.
Customer supplied $1000.00 deposit to start demo & required repairs,$632.50 for additional cost of materials, that were originally supposed to be supplied by customer. Contractor took time out of project to gather materials for project.
Customer would contact contractor through text messages/phone call every day for update, which was absolutely unnecessary, and I made the customer aware of this behavior. An agreement was made verbally by myself and the customer(November 15th,2019) on the completion date(November 21st,2019),and a request was made by the contractor for the customer to await word when the project was completed. On Monday,November 18th,2019-the customer once more contacted the contractor & asked for an update on the project?
It was then decided by the contractor that the stress was just too much with the customer, and the customer was advised that an invoice for the services up to the said date(November 18th,2019)would be provided & a refund would be returned.customer harassed the contractor once again for the invoice, refund & key return.
Customer had to be blocked from text messages & phone calls, but were provided communication through email as to progress of refund & single key.
Harassment continued from customer through the evening(copies of emails can be provided).
Key was left with "the *** store"for customer to pickup(contractor paid for this service)
invoice & refund were issued same evening.

Invoice detailed all work/services provided by the contractor & were extremely fair in charges.
Customer is under the impression that the contractor should work for free, and refund more than is realistic. Several hours, fuel, disposal of construction debris at landfill & contractor time to assist customer with retrieving materials required to complete job hired to do were required.
I will not ever deal with this customer again, nor will I recommend any other contractors to provide service to him.
This customer seems to believe "micro-managing"a contractor is a healthy way to get things done.
The project would have been completed if the customer had just let us do our jobs.
I am a very patient person, but do not appreciate customers that think professional service is free, and fabricate stories.
I know the type of service that was provided to this customer & the professional courtesy he received. I certainly do not provide my service for free, nor should anyone.
I wish him nothing but good luck in the future.
No additional refunds will be provided.

Customer Response • Nov 25, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
*** First of all he was hired based on a verbal commitment that he will finish work within a week because that was the only washroom in the house, second thing he never mentioned the days after he took the deposit of him not showing up or even providing me as a customer with answers of why he didn't come to do the job. Third I was not harassing him but when he says he will start work at 9 and he never show up I have to give him a call to see whats going on you can't just leave someones place as a mess and not show up for days. Fourth he didn't mention in his response that he clearly told me on the phone that he got jobs that are worth more money, taking in mind as he said that my washroom was small and still being charged by him $3600 just labor and material that's not a little money either.

***

***

Also one last thing to note, a copy of invoice was supposed to be send in the evening as promised by Jerett and didn't get till midnight.(proof can be provide)

JRB General Contracting Services Response • Nov 26, 2019

I have no further comments regarding this past customer whatsoever.
I have stated facts as to what transpired with the job and why he was charged for my services.

I wish him nothing but the best in the future and will not engage in a dispute regarding his idea that people work for free.
I will not comment on what another contractor did,and are glad he found a more suitable person that was able to deal with him.

Take care.

A friend of mine hired Jerett Biggs. Scammed over 20k. I believe every complaint on this site. This man should be in jail not raising or teaching a new generation.

Jarrett did terrible work riddled with mistakes, and never finished even though he was paid. He constantly made excuses as to why he couldn't show up on the job site, and just stopped showing up one day after being paid. One of the worst contractors I've ever dealt with.

JRB General Contracting Services Response • Mar 29, 2019

in regards to this review-lets talk about this customer:Tracy and Sean.

I was hired to partially renovate 2 bathrooms. That was the original scope. This job entailed:
1) install customer supplied bathtub(still needed plumbing)
2) install customer supplied shower faucet unit(old faucet needed to be removed and new unit needed to be installed)
3) install customer supplied vanity(plumbing needed to be corrected)

This job was originally quoted at $1000.00 per bathroom
customer to supply ALL MATERIALS to complete the work as per scope and text messages(that have been saved)

by the way-these were nice people on the first visit, and during the first initial bathroom.

day of start:

arrived at the residence, customer had no materials to get started on the job.asked about where I could find them in the house, and was told they were not picked up yet?was told to pick them up and he would pay me. Not part of the original conversation.
No big deal.Talked to customer about some additional plumbing work that was noticed,as well as a rotten floor around the toilet flange.
Was met with a comment from the customer"you should have noticed this".
Already a bad start to the project.
I ignored the comment and priced out some additional recommended work.only recommended.
customer gave the authorization to complete the additional work.
after much hesitation from the customer to supply funds for the materials needed for the jobs(as per the original conversation)I went and purchased the materials.
Was not charged extra for this service of picking out and delivering the materials to complete the job.
bathroom # 1:
Original tub was larger than what customer supplied, bathtub drain had to be re positioned as the floor joist was in the middle of the position of the new customer supplied tub.
Explained this to the customer and 2 walls were strapped out,re-drywalled and tub installed with new drain.
Flooring around old toilet flange removed, old toilet flange cut out,new flange and coupler installed, flooring re-enforced and repaired with new t & g 3/4' flooring.properly installed.
toilet water supply line re positioned to come up through wall,as well as hot/cold water supply lines for vanity sink removed from floor and re-routed through wall.vanity drain was re-done due to height & access to customer supplied wall mounted vanity.
Drywall repaired on both walls and mudded.
This was charged a total of $1,450.00 for this complete service.

Was paid $600.00 by

JRB General Contracting Services Response • Mar 29, 2019

sean(customer's husband) upon the 3rd day of work.he was apologetic on the additional work that needed to be completed.

customer had a tiling contractor to complete the work on the shower area and flooring,I finished mudding the walls in the shower(not quoted, but completed as part of the service at no additional charge).could not complete the installation of the vanity,or plumbing due to tiling that needed to be completed by their contractor, and finishing/painting on the walls by the customer.

went to ask for a partial payment, and was then told that waterproofing was also included in our conversation?
again,no big deal, just waterproofed the shower area for the customer at no charge.customer paid for the waterproofing(redguard) only.
I paid for and picked up the waterproofing and was paid for the materials only(was paid exact amount of the reciept,no additional for my time or delivery)
was paid $850.00 thru e-transfer for the balance.
was contacted by customer a couple of weeks later that the tile contractor was not shown up as of yet,and they would let me know when I could get started on bathroom #2.

after a while, was contacted by customer.
Tracy wanted the 2nd bathroom demo'd and to get going on it.I explained that I was extremely busy, but would keep in contact with her as to when I could schedule the work. This was ok'd by the customer.
a short time later,Tracy was advised by her tile contractor that he would be starting a new job on the 18th of the month, and would not be available after that time.
she had asked me if I could have the demo in the 2nd bathroom completed with enough time to accommodate her tile contractor.
I attempted to have this done, but had to bring in a helper to speed up the process, and re-schedule numerous other projects that were on the go as well, but I did to accommodate my customer.
through the course of the 2nd bathroom, additional work was asked to be completed on both bathrooms(removal of old medicine cabinets & patch over cavities),repair wall in basement.

the time frame would not allow for the project to be completed in order for their tile contractor to come in.
I was very clear in explaining this to the customer, and it was decided that I would supply another tile contractor to match the pricing of their original contractor.
so their contractor was removed.
this took alot of pressure off of me,and the 2nd bathroom was ready for tiling.

the tile contractor that was brought in by me were not professionals and I made this very clear with the customer,as no other professional would have completed the work with the budget they allowed and the time frame I was given to find a pro tiler.
My job was to work with them and get the jobs completed.

I was contacted by the customer about the workmanship regarding the tiling, not about any workmanship of mine.I contacted the person that completed the tile work, and was explained by them that the customer had been extremely unruly, aggressive and would not allow them to correct any discrepancies.they were paid $160.00 for the work,as the customer refused to pay them anything additional.

on last conversation from my tile contractor,I was advised that when her husband visited the customer to pickup a few of their items, her husband was met with extreme hostility and was assaulted by the customers husband"Sean"

This alarmed me,so it was decided to not persue any interaction further with the customer,as I am unaware of what could possibly ensue on the jobsite.

To date,I have only been paid $500.00 on the 2nd bathroom, including the extra work.
the bathroom has been completely tiled.
my helper to speed the process along was paid for his time.which made the total amount that was paid for my time and work completed:$250.00

to date, the customer is in debt to me:$1,250.00

based on how my subcontractor was treated, and for personal safety reasons, work was stopped.

no mistakes had ever been brought to my attention through both bathroom renovations.I would have assumed the customer would have spoken to me while I was on site.especially completing 2 bathrooms in a row.

I have never been meet with any conversation regarding a "no show" on the job site. This was completed as per her guidelines and scheduling my time based on her other contractor.

in regards to her comment:" One of the worst contractors I've ever dealt with"
I find this to be very unprofessional by the customer,as there were not only 1 but 2 bathrooms that were 90% completed?I would have assumed if she was unhappy with me,she would have gone with a more suitable contractor for the additional bathroom?
not including the additional work that was asked for,and the soliciting my company for any future work.
I will assume the customer did not remember the conversation.I do.
in regards to the "payment"the customer claims was referring to:
again,I was paid in full for the 1st bathroom, just waiting for the customer to finish so I could install the customer supplied items.
see outstanding.

JRB General Contracting Services Response • Mar 29, 2019

monies that are owed.
I will not give my personal opinion of these people,as I am a professional and love interacting with my customers.
It's unrealistic to bully contractors, expect them to work for free, and then leave them a review like this, especially with the amount of work that was not paid for.
I wish them nothing but the best in the future, and hope they can find a more suitable contractor.

***

I wish you all the best Sean and Tracy.

Made an agreement via email for installation of over the range microwave, work in pantry and installation of cupboards over the microwave. All completed satisfactory even though it took a long time. Mr. indicated via text message that he would paint the cupboards and shelf as part of our email agreement. I sent him money via *** to purchase the paint and remainder of monies owing for project.

For the past week, I have contacted him several times, said he had family illnesses and a son's wedding. I texted him this week a few times. Even asking him to drop off the paint I paid for. As of today there is no reply to my text messages.

All I want is for him to drop off the paint I paid for and to no longer have any business dealings with him.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) Would like the paint I purchased delivered to my house.

JRB General Contracting Services Response • Nov 05, 2018

customer was refunded November 04th,2018 for the amount forwarded for her paint materials supplied-as per request.

painting of the cupboard was offered at no charge as a free service,as well as additional work was performed at a discounted rate and/or no additional charge.

We will never provide a service in the future for this customer,as her time frame for finishing up a project of this size was unrealistic.
*** We pride our self on quality work, and will attempt to resolve any discrepancies to keep our clients happy, but are very transparent when we are busy. This was addressed numerous times with the client.
Again-This is not the sort of customer we will provide future service for.

Customer Response • Nov 05, 2018

Jerett *** texted me yesterday asking about my complaint to Revdex.com. He sent me 30$ to cover the paint even though in his text messages he said it coat 38$. I am good with that.
