I have been in my home 2 years and had issues with a pump that they had a plumbing contractor install. The builder gave me the number to JRC and advised me the pump was under warranty. I called Jim *** and the next day he sent out plumbers. The guys took the pump out of the ground and took it to have it checked. The 'plumber? called me and told me it had to be replaced. I said to him what about the warranty he said it is 3 years I said good then it is under warranty then he said oh wait let me check it is 2 years. Ok well I didn't believe this answer at all. He replaced it and they called me asking for payment not giving me any information about the pump or the type. And when I asked what is the warranty on the pump in the ground the lady on the phone told me it is on the side of the pump. I only found out what type of pump and warranty because some old paperwork was left on the ground and it had the brand. Indeed it was a 3 year warranty. I emailed Liberty pumps and also sent it to the plumbing contractor. The plumbing contractor Jim *** emailed me back and told me that he is sorry I felt they were dishonest but assured me they weren't and gave me the number to the place they purchased the pump. I contacted the place they purchased the pump *** Supply and they were honest. It was a Liberty pump with a 3 year warranty but the pump they had installed at my NEW construction residence was 5 years old! So a used pump was installed at my new home! Also the man at *** Supply said he questioned the plumbers at length about this warranty and the young man told him no don't send it in that's when they tried to repair it and discovered it's age!
