JRH Construction and Remodeling LLC

I am stunned by the complete unprofessionalism of *** *** and JRH Construction I hired him last week to do several projects around my house He showed up this Monday, I gave him my list and we agreed on a price We went to pick up supplies and he began working Before finishing the trim in my hallway, he moved on to replacing a kitchen faucet The faucet was old and he found he could not remove it with the tools he had (he had not brought all his tools) I told him it was ok to leave it until Wednesday He did show up on Wednesday I was not home but my daughter was He brought a young woman with him who was not introduced I spoke with him on the phone and asked who she was I expressed concern about liability issues and asked if she was covered under his insurance I also told him I would've preferred knowing ahead of time who was going to be in the house, especially when I was not present He told me that she was his sister and was helping him out I told him that was fine and we hung up He called me back and told me he was taking his sister home I told him that wasn't necessary if she was his employee That was at 12:30pm on Wednesday, 1/ My daughter told me he left right after that I have not seen him since I tried texting him Wednesday night He did not reply I just tried calling him moments ago He picked up and when I told him who it was he hung up on me My sink is still unhooked My hallway trim is 3/done Half of my doors are off their hinges (he was supposed to paint them)and half are on--all are unpainted On another note, he brought his young son with him initially on Monday Said he forgot the kids were off of school due to the holiday I said it was ok for him to stay All in all, I was nothing but nice to him and he walked off an incomplete job and refuses to even speak to me

** *** offered a proposal and took our money The next time we saw him was six months later in court where we received a judgement against him, At no time during the six months did he attempt to follow through and complete the project We are still trying to recover our money/the judgement
