Business

Response:

This former client owes Jr’s

Solutions in excess of $80,000.00. When the attorney for Jr’s Solutions sent

the client a letter requesting payment of the outstanding sums due Jr’s

Solutions, the client responded by making this complaint.

The original contract to renovate

the client’s residence was for $446,000.00 With changes too numerous to count

the number has mushroomed to over $800,000.00 and has caused the project to

drag on well beyond the intended completion date.

As Jr’s Solutions is being classified

as such a bad contractor, the client was still requesting it to perform

additional work unrelated to the original renovation as recently as last month.

Last month the client wanted Jr’s Solutions to construct a pool house in their

backyard separate from the residence. After refusing to pay Jr’s Solutions any

of the money it is owed, or any money to continue with new projects the client

was informed that no additional work was going to be performed. At that point

Jr’s Solutions directed a sub-contractor to remove its excavator from the site

and not to prepare the ground for construction of the pool house. The client

attempted to block the sub-contractor from removing its equipment and the

police had to be called to the scene. Upon arrival, the police instructed the

client to allow the contractor to remove its equipment from the property.

With respect to the renovation work, the client initially

complicated the project by continuing to add work and live in the house during

the work. This meant that the renovation had to be done in stages which led to

more delays. Add to that the additional $400,000.00 in work that was not

initially part of the project and you can see the client was not sure from the

beginning what they ultimately wanted to accomplish.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

JR's Solutions' response is not acceptable for the following reasons.

Jr's was paid in full for a roof that was not properly installed and leaked. He failed to repair or replace roof.

JR's was paid in full for grading, hardscape, and paving of driveway. The aprons have tar stains, grading was never done, and driveway is falling apart. He failed to fix or replace.

JR's was paid in full for a portico that is leaking. He failed to replace or fix portico. water even leaking into portico light.

JR's was paid in full for brand new gutters and leaders and soffits. They are damaged and not replaced or fixed.

JR's was paid in full for natural stone and siding around whole house. Siding still has stains and no flashing was installed along stone/siding transition resulting in water leaking behind stone veneer.

JR's was paid in full for basement renovation with new egress windows. One egress window does not open. He also failed to install flashing resulting in water leaking into basement.

JR's was paid in full for HVAC. Basement thermostat not functioning. Condensation pump plumbing not sealed. Both resulting into improper operation and water leaking into basement.

JR's was paid in full for custom Mahogany door. Door damaged and cracked because he failed to stain/seal door in timely fashion. Door not fixed or replaced.

JR's was paid in full for complete interior and exterior and garage paint job. Not completed.

JR's was paid in full for custom Azek exterior trims. Not completed or finished. Patch work at best. Failed to replace or finish.

This is just a short list of what JR's was paid for and failed to fix or replace or deliver!

In addition, his pure negligence resulted in significant personal damage to our belongs such as furniture, rugs, .... not to mention the above.

Further, as several contractors and roofers have pointed out to us, several aspects of the construction were simply not according to current standards and code.

Suffolk County Consumer Affairs has been already notified and my attorney is actively pursuing my interests.

It is my intention to make such charlatans and impostors known to the public so other innocent families don't get trapped wasting their hard-earned cash and get robbed!

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
