Review: JRV associates contacted me in October 2014 claiming they had a Chinese company wanting to buy my timeshare. It started with an 8 page contract, then 3220 SRE. The charges kept coming for everything from non resident taxes to beautification taxes, federal tax, state tax and [redacted] legal fees for holding the funds. These fees totaled $75050.00. I have already contacted the California Attorney Generals office with about 1.5 inches of paper work documenting the emails, phone calls, transfers, names, phone numbers and a photocopy of a drivers license that one scammer provided to me. The Attorney Generals office responded that they were not interested in prosecuting. I also filed with the FTC, FBI and [redacted] fraud department and have not heard back from any of them. It has been six months now and nobody seems to be interested in bringing these people to justice.Desired Settlement: Refund of $75,050.00 and prosecution of the involved individuals.

Review: JRV Associates and [redacted] called us to buy our timeshare with the [redacted] in Riviera Maya, Mexico. They asked us to remit certain funds that the Mexican government requires from sellers. This amount was to be put into an escrow account for us. We have documentation stating this.After making payments equal to $8732.52 (including wire charges), we were waiting for the closing. We got a call 9 which is on my voice mail - that told us the buyer was canceling the deal and we would get a notice from the Escrow office.When we heard nothing back we called and called and finally after reaching someone at the Escrow office were told that we reneged on the deal not the buyer. This was new to us and not true at all.The contract we signed stated if the buyer cancelled we would still get 50% of the offer.[redacted] Lawrence, [redacted], [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted] from JRV[redacted] and [redacted] from [redacted] These are the folks part of this scam. They have lied to us and have money belonging to us.Desired Settlement: We would like to get the total amount we paid equaling $8732.52 (inclusive of wire charges).We would also like them to honor their contract and give us the 50% of the offer price that was written into the contract if the buyer cancels. This comes to $6297.

After stringing me along for over 3 months, JRV associates will not return my calls, and World financial services corp (escrow agents) phone is now an ad for magic jack. I have paid 10 different taxes or fees and over 11 different people were involved in this scam.

Review: JRV Associates called and said they had a buyer for my timeshare in Cancun. I signed contracts and then wired money for on 10/27 for 2850.00 for an SRE permit to sell real-estate in Mexico. Several weeks later they said they place was sold and money would be sent by Fed-EX in 24 hours. I just need to pay the 8% realty fee. So I wired 1516 on 11/14 again to Mexico. I've called both JRV and World Financial Services(title company) and no one will return calls or e-mails. I've been scammed.Desired Settlement: I wish I could get the place sold as promised but I'd be so happy if I could just get back the 4,366.00 the I've paid in the last month.

Review: [redacted] contacted us about October 10,201 about selling our timeshare for [redacted] in Cancun Mexico indicating he had a buyer. Purchase price of $15432.00. We agreed after they said it would cost us nothing. October 7, 2014 we sent $4700 for [redacted] PERMIT REINVESTMENT, November 24, 2014 $3495 for NON FAMILY TRANSFER, December 2, 2014 $2777 for SAT FEDERAL TAX, December 12, 2014 $2080 for CAPITAL GAINS TAX and December 8, 2014 $2200 ESCROW RELEASE. Total $15,252 plus $200 wire transfer fees. All monies sent to a [redacted] in Mexico. We were told 100% reimbursement for a total of $30884. I have account numbers etc. if you need this. We have not seen any monies nor can we contact this company anymore. No working phone number and they do not answer emails. Also the company handling the escrow was called World Financial Services Corporation in Los Angeles. Address 10724 Wilshire Blvd #1502. Review: [redacted] from JRV and Associates was helping my husband and I sell our timeshare. He assured us once we paid our overdue fees of $3000 he would be able to finish the transaction to sell our timeshare. We wire transferred $3000 to a bank account and once we did that he asked for another $2500 to pay taxes upfront. Once we told [redacted] that we couldn't pay that amount he emailed us that we were canceling without cause and they were be keeping there commission of over $2800. This was absolutely a scam. We have not heard from this company again, we asked for our money back but have gotten no response.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund.

Review: Collection of fees under false pretenses. This company required $3800 for an SRE permit to sell our Mexican time share, then asked for $2800 more for a tax that they said the Mexican government required for the transfer of the property. I refused to pay the $2800 tax and found out that neither of these fees is required by the Mexican Government. This is a clear case of fraud.Desired Settlement: I would like my $3800 refunded
