We had them come in for a pipe in washroom that backed up sewage water.they fixed the problem but they left the area super dirty.they used my personal towels to clean black sewage slime,black footprints all over floor and stairs,they didnt cover or move anything nor did they ask us to so walls and boxes got black slime on it and black handprints all over my door.only one lady (a dispatcher)tried to help.the plumber told me they dont cover up nor are they a cleaning service,the supervising manager told me I was a coward because I told him I will put them on a public page,in the end someone came out but didnt do a good job cleaning plus I had to provide paper towelsBoss was supposed to call and never did.they post on their page that they leave a clean work area behind

These guys are the worst around , I had an issue with sump pump , one guys turns up , he doesn't even has tools ( a flashlight in this case ) , opens the cover and just says they do not service the kind of sump pumps And then demands $for this mins drama I guess ppl can ignore these as they are not serious folks and provide this kind of no service for a high cost Beware of this plumbing company as no where on there site they mentioned the service charge for doing nothing

They were recommended by another plumber since our first choice doesn't service in our areaFirst visit they replaced a thermocouple but the issue of water heater persistedThere was a $charge for that first visitThe technician said the heater needed to be replaced and he thought $could be deducted from the total cost of heater replacementWe ended up replacing the unit for $but they only refunded $arguing that they couldn't work for freeI questioned them why they needed to replace the thermocouple in the first place if they knew the unit had to be replacedThey said my tenant told them to do soDid I get this right that they said my tenant had better knowledge about the heater than they do?

It is with great regret I write this review for J&S Plumbing IncI had an appointment to fix my broken sump pump on Sunday 8/28/The primary sump pump was not working, but the secondary pump for AC and humidifier was draining the waterThe mechanic Leo inspected the primary pump and said the float switch was stuck"Came on site, found primary sump pump switch stuck, clean float switch and it's rod, working good at the momentThe basement watch dog back up system is not workingRecommended to install a new Aqua-not basystem for $1800.00." The technician spent less than minutes for the $service call chargeThe very next day we had a rain storm and the primary pump failed flooding my entire basementI called J&S Plumbing again explaining the situationThey sent people to resolve the problemAfter taking a look at the pump, their first comment was - "I can replace the pump, it will be $To replace the back-up, it will be $1800." So I asked him what about all the damage to my basementHe said that is not their responsibility and they will not pay for itHe then said he will have to talk to his supervisor and have them call me backHe went out to his truck and came back after minutes with the same explanationI asked him for the supervisor's number, he said the supervisor is busy in a meetingSo I asked, how did you speak to them? He then started talking in a threatening and intimidating manner that I am wasting his time having to come there and would only start the work after I pay the $2300, took all his drop cloth and left without doing anythingI then called the dispatch office and explained the entire situation againThey then had a supervisor call me backBeth started off my saying they are not responsible for pump failure and they cannot predict if the pump is about to fail (if you call yourself an expert in the field of plumbing, you should be able to figure out)She very emphatically stated they will not take responsibility for the damage to my basement nor would fix it unless I pay the $After going back and forth with them, she agreed to credit me the $service charge from the previous dayI just spent over $12k to clean and restore my basement!! Obviously I was not going to trust the company that caused this damage in the first place

I had a small problem with my drain in the bedroom. The water was backing up
too high to take a shower!. I contacted J & S plumbing and emphasized the problem
was really a small job. The company's policy is to inform the customer of their
rates prior to taking the job. Well, no such luck in my case. The plumber arrived
over an hour late. When I asked this plumber rates he said service calls were
97.00 for a service call!. I immediately became nearly hysterical when I heard
this guy standing against my bedroom wall and had the attitude of he could
care less! and quoted another figure nearly two hundred hundred dollars
for any necessary problems which might occur in their fixture of a small
insignificant drain which I have!. I started shouting " you are ripping me off!)
I nearly threw them out of my condo. Why two men from R & S plumbing?
from R&S for such a small repair?. The bottom Line is the
plumbers did absolutely NOTHING!. Not even went into the bathroom!
The best part is after leaving R & S plumbing rang my doorbell demanding the
full payment.! I was so upset I gave them a credit card!. I told R&S plumbing
I would report them to [redacted] and proceeded to call my credit card
company and report any charges from R &S plumbing would be disputed.
I contacted R& S plumbing only to report I contacted the seller when the
dispute would begin ( just as the usual procedure for filing disputes or
claims). R & S Plumbing was a horrible experience. I am still tense and
upset from yesterday when R & S yesterday! Today I will have to pay again
for another plumber from another company!. Please do not use this company!
Total ripoff with rude customer service!

I would recommend J & S Plumbing. They were on time for giving me an estimate despite the New Year holiday weekend. They were on time for the job and cleaned up the area including the front walkway and driveway. (I had a service line repair done which requires digging to locate the pipe and then to locate the leak in the pipe.) They took care of getting the Village permit, scheduling JULIE, and scheduling a timer after completing the job for the Village building inspector to okay the work.

We had 4 toilet flappers replaced by J&S, but only 2 worked correctly after the plumbers left. We paid for 4 but got no recall for a fix when I complained. The toilets flush 4 times before the bowl fills. I was told this makes it a more efficient flush--BUT we have water4 saver toilets! Another problem wasn't even attempted. The special order part wasn't ordered because the plumber incorrectly told them not to since he wasn't sure if he might have to break into the wall to fix it. He said he "wasn't sure" but reported that I refused to have the wall broken. No working shower, only 2 toilets working correctly, and no attempt to get a new cartridge for a faucet. All this work was paid for--but no return or fixes. Never again!
