Verbal response taken over the phone: The consumer and I signed the contractIn it ,we had agreed that the consumer would supply the shoe molding and transitions We did the installation but the consumer's material list was not present when we completed I deducted this from the total In the contract, we also agreed to remove and reinstall the toilet The consumer decided to buy a new toilet The new toilet would require an adjustment to the supply lines I am not qualified to do this and told him he would need to call a plumber The consumer called me back because the new toilet began to leak and water was getting into the floor I don't know who installed the toilet but am not liable to the damage to the floor He will have to contact whoever installed the toilet or his insurance We did not charge him for any work we did not complete
