Review: I purchased a vehicle from [redacted], the owner of JT Automotive Repair, in January 2013. I was issued 30 day tags and was told that he would mail me the title. I have called and text Mr [redacted] on numerous occasions and was told that the person that sold him the vehicle signed it in the wrong place and he's waiting for him to go to DMV to sign new title. This was last month. He sent me a text a few weeks ago and said that it should be straight by May 30th. I called him on May 29th and left a message for him to call me, but no return call. I'm afraid to drive my car because of the expired tags. I either need the title like yesterday or I need him to refund what I paid for the car. It's going on five months now. Frustrated!!!!!Desired Settlement: Give me the title now or a full refund!

Response:

I spoke with [redacted] from the company. He stated that he is still waiting on the title from DMV and due to the privacy act they will not release information to him about the delay. He is giving the customer another 30 day tags for her troubles.

Regards,

Mr. [redacted] has not contacted me to tell me that he is still waiting on DMV or to say that he will give me 30 day tags for my trouble.

I had an oil leak repaired at JT Automotive six months ago which was never really repaired. I had to pay an additional $750 to a more experienced auto shop to actually have the oil leak repaired. I found out that JT Automotive only sealed areas that should have been replaced and that they installed new grunts over the old ones which only created a gap, which is why the oil continued to leak. If the owner had paid more attention to repairing my car rather than trying to take me out on a date, he may have done a more accurate job! Very unprofessional!

Review: I took my car to JT Automotive for repair on the 28th April, To this date the car is still waiting to be repaired. [redacted] has made two attempts to repair the transmission with no success. He was under the impression that he could choose the pick and pull to swap out the xmissions. I didn't authorize him to do so as he was supposed to have the xmission rebuilt and replaced. [redacted] also tried to charge me for parts he claimed to have replaced but didn't do so until I informed him that I knew the difference between the old and the new. And that I wanted my old parts back. [redacted] has not been able to be honest with me since taking delivery of said auto. [redacted] continues to lie about when the vehicle is to be finish and what the real issue is. In speaking with the local [redacted] dealership I found that [redacted] has replaced items that have not to do with the xmission operation. [redacted] has lied to me numerous times in reference to repair of the vehicle. What I learn thru out this process is that [redacted] of J T Automotive is someone who I never suggest anyone to do buisness with.Desired Settlement: I requesting a refund for the price of labor and parts for the transmission repair along with 4 other parts in which [redacted] charge me for and didnt replaced. The is no automotive repair shop in the United States the takes 7 weeks or more to repair an transmission. This has place a total inconvenience in maintaining transportation.
