On May 12th of this year , I hired Chris M*** to come to my house and do some electrical workHe told me he would charge by the hour or the job and I chose hourlyHe did things for me while he was thereOne was to move a bathroom light fixture over about a foot and the other was to put in a plug in the undercrawel of the house for a sump pumpWhile installing the plug for the sump he inadvertently must have messed with the wire in the attic and the back half of the house had no power to itAfter removing every plug and switch on the back side of the house he went back up in the attic and declared that he had moved a wire and fixed the problem (after an hour of trouble shooting) He informed me that he would not charge me for,that hour, yet presented me with a bill for hours (that included that hour)He charged me $for parts and labor and he refused to give me a receiptI contacted his place of business the following week and they told me that they would talk to him

she never contacted JT Electric to perform the work.Ms. [redacted] did call our office after the work was performed and spoke with our office manager tocomplain about the price and receipt issue. The office manager was very specific in talking with her, toldher that this was not a job or agreement with JT Electric and her issue needed to be taken up withMr. M[redacted] as a private party and not representing JT Electric. This was the first time JT Electric wasmade aware of the specific project, due to her complaint.Ms. [redacted] stated that Mr. M[redacted] was driving a JT van, so therefore JT was responsible for hisactions. The office manager told her specifically that JT was not contracted to perform the work andthat her arrangement was made outside any JT agreements or contracts. Any issues regarding the workthat Mr. M[redacted] did was solely responsible by him and not the company.
