Very professional window replacement crew. Clearly communicated the expectations throughout the week. They kept the workout clean during the installation. Along with replacing the windows, the team went the extra mile in ensuring that any rotted wood trim was replaced. They even performed some additional custom interior trim work.
Overall very happy with the entire process of full window replacement with Apex Energy!

Our experience working with Apex Energy Solutions was first class. The windows themselves look great and work really well. We particularly love the safety features. What sets this company apart though was the members of the team that we worked with. From Andrew in sales to the incredible install team, they were professional and made our experience as seamless as we could have imagined. We recommend working with this excellent company if you are looking for new windows or patio doors.

I highly recommend Apex!
From our first meeting with Andrew through the seamless installation of all our windows, it went beautifully.
The email communication through the whole process was excellent and actually very impressive.
The crew of installers were professional and very efficient. I was impressed how they laid tarps throughout my house to protect my flooring during the installation.
The windows are exactly what we expected.
They're beautiful inside and out!
Thanks Apex!!

The Apex crew came with triple pane windows. The realization after installation of how remarkable the difference is from double pains. I could no longer hear the outside noise. I could have the cooler air from the evening come in,
Close up the house and did not need to turn on my air conditioner. The installation team was awesome, they found unforeseen cost when removing a window. They corrected the problem and ate the cost. Tim’s crew of Tim and Paul were awesome and helped with all concerns that I had. They put me totally at ease and I felt taken care of as if I were family. I smile with my new windows ??.

Once the newly set of three windows that were installed this spring to be replaced the windows ice up tremendously and both the bottoms and the size and on the frame of the window they are telling me there’s too much moisture and humidity in the house Which is not correct since they installed four other windows within 5 feet away the same room and those new windows do not ice up.

Good Morning,

This is a simple issue of high humidity in a home. I have had a sales rep go out with a humidity reader in the questioned area of the home to which he reported levels of 50-55%. The homeowner informed me over the phone that it was between 30-35%. Either way, those numbers are far too high. It needs to be noted that this issue presented itself during the most extreme winter that we have had in decades here in Wisconsin, with temperatures approaching -50F. If you reference the third-party website***, they state that when outdoor temperatures are -20F or lower, then humidity inside of the home shouldn't be higher than 15%. Even at 30-35% (per the customer), this is still double the recommended humidity in a home and over triple the recommended humidity if the levels are at 50-55% (to which the website recommends only keeping this level when it is 50F or warmer).

You see, the warmer air holds more moisture. In the wintertime (especially the extreme conditions from this past winter), once that moist air comes in contact with the coldest surface in a room (i.e. glass on a window) it will expose itself as condensation. This same rule applies to a cold soda can being outside on a hot/humid summer day (it will sweat). I explained this to Mrs. over the phone on 4-17-19 (as evidenced by the attached email correspondence). During this same phone call, she told me she had an "Aprilaire" machine to which I informed her that by adjusting the levels on this machine, it would most definitely help and potentially even solve the problem. She seemed fine with this explanation at the time, and I even recommended putting these practices into effect and we could take a closer look at this together when it got colder out again to see if any further action was needed. I have also been informed that there are also thick window treatments that cover this particular unit, which makes the matter even worse because it traps more of that warm air in that colder space.

Taking all of this into consideration, this DOES NOT represent any manufacturing defect in the product that is being referenced by Mrs.. I want to reference the green-highlighted section in our Lifetime Apex Insignia Warranty (attached) that references condensation. If you look at any other window company warranty, you will see similar language and explanation with regard to the same subject. Mrs. even went so far to contact the warranty phone number for the manufacturer, where she spoke to a representative named Maureen, and she was also told by this representative that the condensation did not represent any defect in the product.

After all of this, I have come to find out from other customers that she has made slanderous statements on the Nextdoor social media page which directly impacts our business. I have gone so far to schedule a personal visit from myself AND a manufacturers representative to take a look at this window in question, despite all of the explanations and valid reasons above. There has been ZERO neglect on our part as a business, and I hope you find our reasoning helpful. If there are any questions or if anything is unclear, I request that you please contact me personally and I am happy to go into detail to clear anything up.

Thank you kindly for the opportunity to lay out our case. I look forward to hearing any resolutions.

Sincerely

To Whom it May Concern:

As a business who values our customers and their experiences with us, we have made another visit to the customer's home. During that visit, along with an associate from our manufacturing partner (who holds and honors the warranty with their products) we assured her that if there was significant condensation again, he would come out and personally examine to determine if there is in fact a manufacturing defect with the window in question. This is going above and beyond any normal operating procedure in a situation like this, but we do want to ensure that there are zero product defects. See the attached email correspondence from 5-16-19 as evidence.

Also, per the previous complaint made by the customer, we have sent another follow-up email on 5-22-19 reiterating the same position and procedure above. This was done, per her request from the EVP of Sales of our organization (copy attached). Upon doing this, we have politely requested her to remove the posts that she has made that position our business and products in a negative light (to which she agreed). At this moment, we have not received any confirmation that this has been done.

I hope this message is helpful and finds you well. Thank you kindly for your time.

Sincerely

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[Please type your response here.] If they see nothing wrong with the windows now why would that change when they freeze up again in the winter. That's when they want to come and look at them again. The sales rep was here and saw the tremendous frost on the window and vinyl. This set of windows is either installed wrong or faulty. Like I said before the other 5 windows in the same area did not freeze up and they can't give me a reason why. Their lifetime warranty does not cover condensation nor frost or freezing and the public should be made aware of this. Yes they have come to inspect but always the same story. I have other windows to replace and now I am in a postion to try and find a reputable firm to match the style and provide better windows.

I signed up via door-to-door visit with the standard initial apprehension that comes with a door-to-door salesman, but kept an open mind. I’m glad I did. After hearing the well-prepared pitch, I was impressed by the product and pitch. I have replaced windows in a prior residence so I wasn’t completely blind...the offer was simply too good to pass up.
After signing, I did a bit more research and became concerned with some reviews I read, but others had glowing reviews. I stuck with it and am very glad I did. The window install went exactly as promised on the day promised. All staff was trained and courteous exactly as promised. I wish good customer wasn’t such a rare thing these days but it is so I really appreciate it.
Our neighbors came over to see our windows and they are now having their home done.
I highly recommend using Apex for your window replacement needs.

We couldn’t be happier with our new windows, especially the bay window which replaced the bow window in ourdining room.
Everyone we dealt with were super professional and experienced in their areas.
Thank you for updating our home and making it more energy efficient!

From beginning to end everything went very smoothly. Very responsive and easy to work with.

We had all of our condo windows replaced in the last six weeks through Apex. Casements and sliding glass patio doors. The sales rep provided complete information on the windows and answered all our questions. The installaton crew did a great job, and were very timely. All in all, including pricing, my wife and I would highly recommend that you take the time to look into Apex for your windows needs.

We worked with Trip from Apex about a month ago. We had talked to many other companies about our front window and chose Apex. Trip listened to all our concerns and helped us to pick the perfect window. The window came in fast and we chose to wait for installation. We couldn’t have had a better experience. The window is beautiful and I love the wood trim. Please give this company a chance to work with you, you won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I just had phase 1 installed by Apex Windows. We’ve had a great experience, easy process, and we now have great windows. We love the look, and we are very happy to take the first step in making our home more energy efficient. Way to go Apex! If you have been thinking about making a window upgrade due to aging windows, you should definitely check them out! #theapexdifference

Our search for replacement windows started with choosing three Revdex.com accredited local window companies. After going through the first two we were discouraged by price, high pressure sales and questionable product. Then a friend who was using Apex told us to call them. What an incredible difference. Our sales guy Andrew was very honest and knowledgeable. They only sell one window and it’s quality. It’s a specially designed window made by a company that’s been in business for 75 years, so no worries about warranty...they’re not going out of business. The price was very fair, cheaper than others, the communication on the install process was perfect at every step and the installation went very well. We love our new windows and would recommend Apex to anyone (we already have). Bottom line to us....very trustworthy, very knowledgeable, very fair and very thorough. Than you Apex and Andrew. Jeff F

I’d been wanting to replace the old, original, single pane, wood frame windows in my house but was very wary of the window industry as a whole and didn’t want to pay $1000/ window, which one company had quoted me. I had sold windows and doors about 20 years ago and knew how shady some companies can be. APEX made it very difficult for me to say ‘no’. The first sales person cold-called me and I have to hand it to her, she was difficult to blow off... I tried to, but she hung in there. Her name was Amy and she ended up setting an appointment for me, with a really solid sales consultant named Andrew. I tested him on his window knowledge and he taught me a lot. Windows have advanced in 20 years and the Insignia windows are really nice. The price was fair and I decided to go with Andrew and Apex. The custom windows took about 6 weeks to get manufactured. When completed, an installation date was set, and the crew showed up ready to go. They left the house cleaner than they found it and were very professional & courteous. The new windows are a huge improvement to my home. They look great from the outside as well as the inside of the house. The usability of these Insignia double-hung windows is fantastic, especially how easy they are to clean the outside from the inside. I’m very happy that I went with Apex. Thank you!!

The whole process from consult to measure to install was seamless. I was extremely impressed with the responsiveness and professionalism of the entire crew. From a service, product, and install perspective, I would give them an A+. If the Revdex.com is about an ethical marketplace in which consumers trust their service providers, then it is no surprise to me that Apex Energy Solutions has an A rating. I would recommend Apex to any consumer without hesitation.

Andrew at Apex stopped by our house for a door to door consult on new windows, and are we ever glad we took the time to LISTEN! The quality, service, and value provided by Apex windows and the entire team we worked with was phenomenal. You will not find a better provider of a better product, and their price won't be beat by lesser products. This team was fantastic to work with, and I would highly recommend to anyone in need of new windows or doors.

Great service from beginning to end. Trip at Apex is very knowledgeable and is one of the most friendly easy to talk to people I have ever met. He was there all the way through the process and made things real simple for us. Despite raining for several days they were able to get our 23 windows and patio door replaced in a timely fashion and the new windows look great and are much better than the rotting wood issues we were dealing with prior!

If you are considering replacing your windows, then you need to consider APEX Energy Solutions.
Andrew H with APEX called on my wife and I early last year to give us an introduction to APEX and their windows. Andrew was a pleasure to work with. He has great product knowledge, and really listened and helped us understand the best products for our home. The experience with Andrew and APEX has been 5 stars.
Their install guys came on a Thursday morning, and were 100% done by end of day Friday…exactly when they said they would be done. The install team was very friendly, professional, respecting and when they were done, the place was as clean as it was before they got there.
We had a couple of small issues with some screens. I called Andrew and not only was the one I called about replaced, Andrew made sure to check them all again while he was here and take care of any others he saw.
The windows look fabulous, are super easy to maintain and very well sealed.

We are very happy with the windows. They look nice. They operate nice. The winter indoor comfort is great. It just feels warmer with the same thermostat setting (68). No drafts, even when surrounded by windows in the living room bay. We regularly go barefoot in the winter throughout the house.
As you know, we have replaced some of the windows in the poolroom and the 2 doors to the outside. When the pool is open, causing maximum humidity, and it is very cold outside, the double pane door windows are very wet from condensation and your triple pane windows have no condensation or very little fog in the corners.
You boast integrity and quality for your company and the installers. You live up to it. During installation the installers were proactive regarding some small issues. During their final inspection and then during your final inspection, you both saw some minor issues with the screens and plastic trim that I would not have seen nor worried about. You took care of it.
We will be in touch regarding the last couple of windows in the poolroom.
We highly recommend you and APEX.
Thanks for all of your help and service.

We recently upgraded our windows in our home. We chose Apex because we liked their product and warranty included. Their price was reasonable and the window quality is fantastic. The installation process was done efficiently and professionally. We highly recommend choosing Apex!
