Hi ***,
I am sorry that I was out of town and forgot to follow up on the complaint. Here is what we can do to resolve this issue.
JTF agrees to send our service manager to the customer’s location free of charge. JTF will diagnose the problem for as long as it takes free of charge
JTF will bear all the labor cost at no charge to the customer
JTF will change any parts under $at no charge to the customer
Customer needs to agree to pay any additional cost exceeding $ For example: The unit needs to replace a part which cost $Customer will pay only $
If customer agrees then we can schedule the service call and take care of this issue immediately

The copier came to us defective from day one, warranty is irrelevantCopier was purchased in November In December and January 2014, JTF was contacted about the poor quality (residual images apparent on copies)of our machine when printing larger jobs (25-pages), both times a technician came and cleaned the unit (did not leave service call tickets)In February another unsuccessful job was performedJTF visited again three times between March and April, to no availWe were offered multiple reasons for the poor copy quality, none of which led to a solutionAlthough our initial complainant was made within days of purchasing the printer, it remains unfortunate that a company is willing to use their "day policy" to excuse poor business conduct.

Laser unit replacement was never mentioned nor suggestedWe first needed a new fixing unit, then a drum and fuser, then a transfer (or transport, technician used both words interchangeably on call ticket) belt assembly (all which have been replaced at this time)Now we need a new laser unit? We are not liable for any expenses related to fixing a copier that was sold to us in an unsatisfactory condition, and are certainly not in a position to purchase a maintenance contract from a company that has already caused our organization so much hardshipI gave up attempting to work with JTF after the final failed service call on April 29, and because of my busy schedule have just finally gotten the chance to revisit this issueAs a non profit organization we already face financial challenges and this must be rectified so we may purchase a working copier and continue serving our clients and community.

Dear Revdex.com,This is nothing but a bunch of lies.  I just called **. [redacted] regarding his false statement....

He promised to retract his false story immediately. He purchased a [redacted] printer and used the printer and then had the audacity to dispute the charges without speaking to JTF first. The $343 has been credited back to his card in full months ago and now he is accusing JTF of fraudulent activity and naming my name as a fraud when he is the fraud.  JTF will pursue damages for his false accusations if not completely retracted and dropped from Revdex.com complaints within 72 hours.Regards[redacted]

Review: Copy machine was purchased from JTF in November 2013, issues with printing quality immediately. Unsuccessfully attempted to fix ourselves. Three service calls and multiple phone calls between March and May 2014. Dissatisfaction with printer expressed multiple times, and refund requested but denied. JTF continued to make differing excuses for poor printing quality, and offered solutions that either worked temporarily or not at all. We have tried to live with the poor printing quality of this machine but simply can not make it work. This is our last hope for a refund so we can purchase a machine that works properly. JTF sold us a defective copy machine and refuses to take responsibility.Desired Settlement: Refund in the amount of $3,030.99

Review: I purchased a Multifunction Printer device from this company in May, I called the office for service on this device because it stopped sending faxes. A technician came out and reported that the motherboard was bad and attempted to replace it, the device still did not fax out. The technician took the device out of the office and came back claiming that it worked in his office, and that the issue was with my office phone line. I had another technician come out and assess the line, there were no issues found, I purchased a new fax machine and it works without issue. Additionally JTF supplied me with a loaner device that also worked in my office, even though the company stated that the telephone line I was using was using has technical issues..Desired Settlement: My entire experience with this company has been unacceptable, their service technicians were not helpful even though they provided a loaner device it did not replace the functions of the device that was broken so my office was without a high volume printer to handle the numerous incoming faxes and print jobs that my office handles. At this point I would like a refund and would like no further interactions with this company, this is a brand new device, even if there is a manufacturer defect I should not be charged for having a service rep come out to assess the device. Being a medical office there are a lot of procedures that need to be followed in regards to patient records and medical information, my office has lost business and has had to delay or not deliver information in some cases because of a non-working high volume print device.

As I stated at this point there is no need for this company to service or replace the device we have purchased a new device, however since this device is less than 6 months old some type of refund should be applied..

We are sorry that **. [redacted] is not happy with her purchase of the Kyocera [redacted].

**. [redacted] purchased the unit without any service contracts. The printer was working fine for the first over 60 days since her first call came a couple of months after the purchase.

Thus this is not a contract issue. Customer did not purchase any service contract through JTF but we did everything possible to fix the problem as we always do for our customers. I was informed by our service manager [redacted] that we dispatched a tech to customer's location and had to replace both main and fax boards. We also provided a loaner while their printer was brought to the shop for repairs even though she did not have any service contract with JTF.

The unit was tested in house fine and we had the customer fax us some document that were faxed back to them. The unit was working fine and was returned to the customer in perfect working condition at no charge.

Our return policy is very clear and was read and agreed by **. [redacted] before she placed the order with us.

30 Days Return Policy

Only damaged or Factory-Sealed products are eligible for return under our 30 days return policy. You need to report within 48 hours after receiving any damaged merchandise.

At this time we are willing to make an exception and have the unit returned to us for 50% refund as indicated.

Please make sure to have the RMA # [redacted] number written on the box.

All returns are subject to the following charges.

• Deducting 50% restocking fee on opened & used equipment.

• Shipping charges are nonrefundable.

• Deducting for missing or damaged items.

• Deducting for any opened supplies.

• Deducting for damage cause by misuse, improper packing or under insured.

Please make sure the unit is in the original packaging and insured when it's shipped back to us. If you don't have the original packaging you can have it dropped off at our offices in Alexandria or make sure is packed properly and fully insured before shipping. Once the unit is received and checked for damages, JTF will refund your credit card immediately. Please call us if you have any questions.

Review: I bought a new printer, received a refurbished one. Agreed to keep it. It didn't work when set up. I wanted to return it. Was refused ability to return. I disputed credit card purchase. I was sent return label. I returned the machine. The credit card company sent me a denial of my dispute. [redacted], president, JTF, told the credit card investigating firm that the machine was still in my possession, clearly a lie. I submitted evidence for the return. Now JTF has $343.80 of my money.[redacted] also claims some agreement to a 50% restocking fee. That never happened.Summary:JTF misrepresents merchandise they sell as "NEW" when in fact they are refurbished. Even the newly added, when I was on phone with them, refurbished statement is fraudulent in claiming the machines are really "new." [redacted], president, will lie to credit card investigating company.[redacted] will also seek to hold customers to an undisclosed return policy.[redacted] and JTF will defraud customers.This company seems to be active in internet fraud.Desired Settlement: I deserve a full refund of $343.80.
