Judgment Marketplace Reviews (1)

Review: Judgment Marketplace (JM) purported to be a sight where one could list judgments for sale. I listed several. After several months with no activity I attempted to remove them from the sight. JM does not provide a mechanism o do so and repeated emails have gone unanswered. In the meantime the judgments have expired and are no longer enforceable. Nevertheless JM continues to market them without authorization and in 3 cases now have "sold" them, again without authorization. Further they are using my name in their promotional section as if we did indeed "sell" them.Desired Settlement: I demand JM take my judgments down from their sight, contact any "buyers" and confirm that they have not purchased anything from me. JM is to remove any mention of Collection Bureau Services, Inc. from their web sight. Any purported charges are to be removed.

Response:

[redacted],

On Thursday, April **, 2014 at 1:47PM you alerted JudgmentMarketplace.com that your listings were still online and there were a few of them which had been sold during the prior few days (and you did not want them to sell or be actively listed). When a sale occurs we charge the sellers credit card 5% of the sold amount and the listing automatically appears as a sold judgment on our homepage.

On Friday, April **, 2014 at 1:00PM we sent you an email letting you know that we have removed all your judgment listings. We have also removed them from our homepage and canceled the charges from the sold listings.

I am not sure why we have received this complaint since we fulfilled your request within 24 hours. Also, every seller has the ability to close their judgments from their "My Account" page.

Please let me know if there are any further issues that we can resolve.

Thank You

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

While the company maintains that it is an easy matter to remove listings I have been unsuccessful in multiple attempts to do so. Furthermore, multiple attempts at communication have been ignored, until the Revdex.com complaint was filed. There is still one invoice showing outstanding. It is a result of the same issue from about one year ago, when another expired judgment was "sold". That invoice also needs to be cancelled.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

Dear [redacted],

Your attempted charge from June **, 2013 for $1.25 when a judgment sold never went through and charged your credit card. Either way it should say canceled on your end.

Also, we responded and removed your judgments last month within 24 hours after you emailed us. The Revdex.com only contacted us by mail days after we helped remove your listings.

Thank You
