Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I am not sure where to even startI am still amazed that my family and I are in this position because Mr***s lack of professional courtesy to his clientsI have attached all of our correspondence, I wish I had the phone calls where he hung up on meMr [redacted] is trying to use his powers to intimidate, and take advantage of me, and my familyI did retain Mr [redacted] for services, and in his retainer it clearly states will keep me informed, and up to date about my case You can clearly see that he, and his office stalled for days, and weeks to get what little work they could just to make it look like they had done something on my caseI went almost weeks without hearing from his office, and the next time I got him on the phone he asked for more moneyMr [redacted] has continued to try and cover his tracks to justify the bill that he has attachedThis document that his office wrote, after I had already asked for my money back is useless to meI need an attorney, that is why he was retainedI need to hire another attorney, and start what he couldn'tMr***, and I did agree to do some work on a model boat of his, I have ordered materials, and spent time and money on this project as wellHowever when he asked me to do it, he asked for it by May So yes I have his model boat, and I am happy to return it, without any charge for work done, as long as I get my full retainerI have absolutely no need for this boat, and am happy to return it in the condition it was given to me inIf he would like to purchase the materials I purchased he is more than welcome to discuss that when we meet at the grievance, or small claims courtOr if he would like to discuss this like peaceful human beings I would love to end this, so I can hire an attorney, and we can all move on with our life?It is very obvious that Mr [redacted] is using his tittle, and trying to intimidate the Revdex.com, as well as meIt is my understanding that one of the purposes of the Revdex.com is to help to a peaceful resolution? Mr [redacted] has not even been willing to discuss, a resolution, just sent me to his office, and handed me that billStill to this day, I have never received anything from him, not even any "Advice" as he calls itUnfortunately only my family is will truly suffer her while Mr [redacted] takes advantageI will be taking this to grievance, and small claims court if neededI am amazed that this situation has even come to thisI hired Mr [redacted] because I trusted him, and now he is taking full advantage of a bad situation Regards, [redacted] ***

This letter is in response to your letter to me dated February 13, regarding the complaint filed with your office by *** ***.Please understand that this letter is only a response to your letterI do not agree to submit to arbitration nor do I agree to your office resolving this matter
this matter will be decided by a Judge and/or by the Grievance Committee of the State Bar of Texas.Mr*** signed a fee agreement with my office on January 3, A copy is attached for your reviewAlso enclosed is a copy of the final billing statement which shows that only $of his retainer was usedA copy of the cashier's check for the unused portion of Mr***'s retainer in the amount of $is also includedThe cashier's check was issued without prejudice to him going to any other legal avenueBecause he chose Revdex.com, this is our response.Mr*** was offered the opportunity to work on a boat to offset a part of his attorney feesMr*** not only failed to work on the boat, he has failed to return the boat to me. My office prepared pleadings for Mr*** (a copy is also included with this response)However, when he came to the office to pick up his pleadings, he refused to take themHe also refused the cashier's check, because he wanted his entire retainer refundedAlthough we had originally prepared the pleadings for my signature as his counsel, we changed the signature block to reflect PRO SE pleadings so that Mr*** could proceed representing himself until he retained another attorney.Mr*** seem to take a position that he should have not been charged for any of the work that was done with regard to his case, Because Mr*** had prior proceedings in New York, this became a difficult, complex process and considerably slowed down the progress in Mr***'s caseIt in not a simple matter to prepare a pleadingIn Mr***'s case, the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Enforcement Act had to be researched in order to establish the parameters involved in establishing jurisdiction and venue in Travis CountyAdditionally, Mr*** seems to take the position that he should not pay for adviceMy business cars states " Attorney and Counselor""Counselors" give advice(A copy of my business card is also included with this response.)Mr***'s complaint is without meritI respectfully request that your office close this complaint with a notation that it is unfounded and unwarranted.I will defend my position with any Court or with the Grievance Committee of the State Bar of TexasI will abide by any decision either or both of these entities issue.Very truly Yours,*** ** ***

I went almost 4 weeks without hearing from his office, and the next time I got him on the phone he asked for more money...
