Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I am not completely rejecting the response, however, in my defense, there were other places I could have purchased my vehicle from and gotten approved. The reason I went to [redacted] was because my neighbor had purchased a vehicle from them and had a good reference, so I trusted them and purchased a vehicle there, which by the way was not the vehicle I was originally interested in. I was specifically told by [redacted] the salesman, in front of two witnesses that the remote WOULD BE fixed when I picked the vehicle up, so maybe the salesman and the owner should have a better communication. As far as the rental vehicle goes, my warranty does include a car rental, however, I was told by [redacted] after the fact that because he did not contact the warranty company about the issue with my car prior to me renting a loaner, it was not covered. So be it. I have asked several times about receipts and was given an attitude, as well as any paperwork done on the vehicle. I was told the day I test drove it in front of my two witnesses that the windshield was replaced, the brakes would be fixed, and it had gone through emissions. Why I cannot have copies of this because it is not on the [redacted] report I had purchased, is beyond me. I will never step foot on the grounds of this garage. I would like my receipts for all the work done on my vehicle to be mailed to me at my home address, which they have on file. Once I receive them through the mail I will consider this a closed case. If I do not receive the requested paperwork, I will then contact the [redacted].
Sincerely,

[redacted] This statement is unbelievable ...First ...Julians is the business that sold the warranty that wasnt valid...Julians sold the warranty on the car with mileage and the intake knowing that it wasnt valid. Julians should as a business stand behind the car and the warranty and in your own statement your are saying that the car shouldnt have had the warranty but you sold it. I am glad the conversations were taped and Mrs [redacted] manner was calm and business like. It is perfectly legal.  And a business always keeps it word once its stated. What business would talk about a person in that manner ? Especially after a young hard working girl trusted them to do whats right? And the person at the business at the time was in the wrong not [redacted] mom. A warranty can not be sold on a car with an intake and it was. As stated would other warranty be sold on modified cars, if they want them. And we should have brought it to Julians, you know how to deal with the warranty companies not some two bit repair shop. How would you have dealt with it when it already had the intake?  It was already a bad warranty? And you already knew it..... Glad my mom had my brother on the phone that day.... and glad you do nothing but put people down...  do whats right....no whats wrong.... If you shake hands and say one thing and do another...thats your reputation.....treat it well

[redacted] claim is erroneous and slander. Yes, a warranty was sold and cancelled. Both [redacted] and I did not realize that at the time of purchase a warranty should not be sold. When it became apparent we refunded her all the money that she paid for the warranty. The warranty company deducted money for...

administration and for the diagnosis on her car but we refunded her the full amount of $2000.00 because it was the right thing to do. We wanted to try to help her, but when her mother who had nothing to do with this deal, came at us in a belligerent manner pretending to be an uncover agent by secretly recording conversations, and camping out at our dealership like it was a sixties sit-in, we just took care of our legal responsibility and gave her all the money back. Nothing was done in an improper manner obviously no one wants to give back money. Nothing was done maliciously, as why would anyone sell a warranty for a ** with 127,000 miles on it for an additional five years and 100,000 miles and hoping to get future service work out of it, if it was not valid. It is an unfortunate situation and we wish [redacted] the best.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
It is false information. There was no discussion about reducing the price of the vehicle due to the Bluetooth radio. As I stated in my original complaint I was told the vehicle was already equipped with Bluetooth. Julian himself said "its a 2012 all the newer modes have Bluetooth". It wasn't until after I completed the purchase and signed all the papers that I discovered there was no bluetooth. I went back to the dealer to have headligths put in since the car was sold with none & that's when I told Julian the car also had no bluetooth as he said it did. He seemed surprised it didn't have bluetooth & said he thought it did like he said " its a 2012 all the newer models have bluetooth". He didn't offer to address my concern. The online specs at the time I purchased said the car had bluetooth. The ones attached in the businesses response say [redacted] Player. The dealer could've altered the specs since they provide them originally.  There's no [redacted] player either.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

In response to the customer complaint, the customer purchased the vehicle with a factory radio as listed on our website. There is no Bluetooth in the vehicle. The customer mentioned that she would like Bluetooth and since the vehicle did not come Bluetooth equipped we gave her a discount from the...

list price 0f $12,999 to $12,132 giving her $857 to purchase her own after market Bluetooth if she so desired. The customer signed the Retail Purchase Order for Motor Vehicle which clearly indicated that there were no "written promises made to customer". She acknowledged this with her signature.
Please see the attached website listing and the Retail Purchase Order for Motor Vehicle.

Review: Julian from Julians's auto sales told me he would sell my [redacted], that when it sold to have the title go directly to him so he could give it to the buyer. The [redacted] sold for $11.500.00, he was supposed to give me the $6,900.00 so I could put it down on a car from his lot that I already chose to buy.

He sold my car, [redacted] 2010, in November 01, 2014 and told me I had to wait for the rest of the transaction (my money to place on a car). I called and called and was told that he sold the car I was going to purchase from him with my remaining balance from the sale of my [redacted]. He then said he would find me another car like I had chosen. After many months of being told to wait we decided we could not trust him and asked for our money due us from the sale of my [redacted] 2010. y husband went to his business many, many times to only get you have to wait, you have to wait.

He stole my car!!!

Julian X[redacted] stole my car and refuses to pay me what he owes me - to date; July 6, 2015.

Please help me. I have no vehicle and I need my money to purchase a car.Desired Settlement: The money due me to purchase a car, NOT from Julian's Auto., $4,600.00 due me. Please help me.

Response:

This claim is a complete fabrication. She left the car on our lot for over six months hoping we would sell it and get her out of her loan, and we did promise her some money and in fact gave her and her husband $600 after the car was paid off. Her thinking that we sold this car for $11500 is insane. We sold the car for $9990, then the payoff for her car was $6713.32, plus we had to put tires on the car for $480.00, plus we had to replace a wheel hub for $375.00 plus we had to pay shipping costs for documents at $36.90, plus pay a commission for $100, and than we lost $1000 on the trade in vehicle. Therefore, we showed a profit of $1284.78 on this vehicle, so giving them $600.00 was more than fair, and by no means shady or improper.

Review: In October of 2014 a 2007 [redacted] was purchased for 10000 and a 2000 warranty. In May of 2015 the car was found to need a new engine, [redacted] warranty came out inspected and then voided the warranty and denied the claim due to Julians selling the car with modifications (intake) on it and the contract saying the car can not have this. When first contacting Julian he stated we should have brought the car there(we can bring it to any shop) then stated he would fix it , then stated we could have it fixed where we wanted...then back to he would fix it....then the next time my mom stopped in ..his salesperson stated they were doing nothing and refunded the warranty. All the time stating they knew the car had the intake and that we should have read better and they will continue to sell the warranties on modified cars.Desired Settlement: The car to be fixed, all repairs and expenses to be covered

[redacted] This statement is unbelievable ...

Review: Ever since I purchased my vehicle from [redacted] it has had issues. It seemed to be there every other week for something. When I purchased the vehicle I was told that the key to the vehicle would be working. It was one of those that unlocks and locks the car doors automatically. I kept being told that they sent the wrong part. I found out afterwards when I went to a [redacted] dealer that the key they had given me was not even a [redacted] key. Each time my car was there for something I was told that I would receive a call. I was never kept informed about the problem of the car nor how long it would take to be repaired. On 23rd I had picked up my car from having it repaired for a fuel pump. I was told at the time that if the warranty company contacted me for any reason to tell them I did not have my car. I believe [redacted] wanted to get more money from the warranty company. I paid my deductible for the warranty and drove my car for maybe two weeks when once again the check engine light came on. This light coming on happened quite frequently and each time I had brought it there I was never called with what the problem was nor was I given a time period of how long it would take to replace it. I was simply told they would call me. Never heard from them. I feel that they did not check the vehicle out fully and kept resetting the check engine light so it would stay off. However, each time it went on I would call. When I picked up my vehicle from the fuel pump being repaired I was asked if I smelt oil burning and I told him yes. He told me when I have time to drop it off and he would look at it. Well, just a little over 2 weeks later my engine light went on again and I had it diagnosed at [redacted] which gave me a list of codes. I brought it there because it was stalling and hesitating, which I told him. He simply replaced the Neutral switch which had taken well over a week. I had to rent a car because I needed to get back and forth to work and school. When I spoke with [redacted] about renting a car it wasn't until three days before I picked up the vehicle that he told me that the warranty company would not pay if because he hasn't submitted a claim to them for the work being done. The rental car coverage that should have been given back to me was $150, however, the warranty company has nothing on file of my car being there so therefore they are not reimbursing me for the car rental. I got my car back on Saturday January 21,2015. I had asked [redacted] about the oil leak he said I had and was told that it wasn't an oil leak, that it was my power steering was low.On Tuesday January 24th, once again my engine light came on..which to me tells me they never fixed the original problem of it stalling and hesitating. I was so disgusted with the place I called the warranty company to see if I had to bring my car back there to get it fixed. The guy I spoke with told me that they are not an authorized service center so therefore I do not have to bring it there. I went to a [redacted] dealership, [redacted]. They diagnosed the problem. There were ten different codes that were being read. When they looked at the vehicle, they found a cracked [redacted]) which had leaked oil all over the hoses below it near the intake and this was making it misfire and hesitate and causing all problems, and I was told that if I drove the car any longer that I would seize my engine and blow the motor. I was so mad at [redacted] because he had lied to me telling me I didn't have an oil issue. Infact, when I picked up my car on January 21st, I had to have a friend go with me just to get a receipt because each time he did something to my vehicle I never got any type of receipt. I do not have a receipt for my fuel pump being replaced, for my battery being replaced, for the Neutral switch being replaced which he told me wasn't covered under the warranty but he was going to figure out how he can submit it to the warranty company so he can get paid. I refuse to pay for that because I feel that was not the original problem, and that it was the oil leaking all over everything which was causing the problems and instead of going through the whole vehicle to make sure there were no oil leaks, he just fixed what he thought it was and gave me the car back. They take forever and do not let the customer know how long it will be before you have your car back. I have had to bring my vehicle to an authorized service center to be repaired, I have to pay $872 out of my own pocket for this to be repaired when it could have been repaired in the first place if [redacted] had simply gone through the complete engine. Why would you tell me there is an oil leak and then tell me it's the power steering fluid was low? Really?

When you rely on a vehicle to get back and forth to work and school and they cannot answer their phone or give you a call back when they say they will, that to me is very poor customer service. A friend of mine notified [redacted] of the issue I was now having and he said to bring it to him and he would fix it, however, I do not trust this man to fix anything more on my vehicle. He has bad customer service skills and does not do a complete check of the vehicle.I have had my vehicle since October and it has been in the shop more than I have been able to drive it. I also had to pay $99.81 for a new key to be made that actually works on my vehicle. When I picked up the car originally this was supposed to be repaired, and even the salesman had told me that. It wasn't. I have no receipts for the work that they have done to my car. I asked them when I bought the vehicle the day I picked it up for the updated oil change information as well as the Emissions paperwork and was given none. I was told they didn't have it. Funny because the day I went to test drive it his wife had taken the vehicle to emissions! I simply want my $99.81 I paid for my key to be replaced as well as the $150 for the rental car, even though the rental car cost me $288.56 but my warranty covers only up to $150 maximum. I will also be notifying the warranty company of how I was told that if they contacted me after I was given my car back that I was to tell them it was still being repaired so that [redacted] could get more money out of the warranty company. It's sad that we have to deal with issues such as this in society and it makes it hard to trust anyone. If my motor had blown because they didn't fix it completely I would hate to have seen how long it would take for them to have fixed that.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for the $99.81 for my key replacement as well as the $150 for the car rental which should have been paid for by the warranty company had [redacted] submitted the information to them. I do not want to hear from him at all. No apology will ever be sufficient for me from this place. I have told all my friends and family to never ever purchase a vehicle from there. Their customer service is very very poor.

Response:

Dear Revdex.com, we are sorry that [redacted] did not find that we lived up to our high standards. She has many complaints and let me try to deal with each one accordingly. First regarding a key. Obviously, she had a key if she was driving a car. What she must be referring to is a remote for the locks. That is something that is extra and not required or a safety concern. Next regarding the length of her wait. We are a busy shop and try to accommodate everyone, and always do our best. She was not eligible for a rental vehicle because it did take a few days but the warranty contract clearly states that rental reimbursement is only applicable when a job books out under ALLDATA for more than six hours of labor for the first day and four hours for each additional day and scheduling or waiting for parts does not count. Next her defamation of our character in her complaint is irrelevant. We in fact lost money on her vehicle and did her a favor in getting her a car loan when no one else would. Her claims regarding our actions regarding her warranty are baseless, and if she was willing to pay and be patient it would never have come up. She wanted her car always yesterday and often we did not have her paperwork ready and warranty claim ready, so as to expedite things and make her happy we let her take her vehicle, and told her we would do the paperwork later. At no time was there any deliberate thoughts of defrauding the warranty company, the only thought was making [redacted] happy. As far as receipts are concerned, I would be happy to provide them any time she wants to come by and regarding the emissions she can feel free to go to [redacted] and print it out, or read the [redacted] website which will go into further detail that her car could not have been registered without emissions, and that they will notify her when it's due, therefore she is all set. Back to her disputed amount in summation, we do not owe her $150.00 for rental reimbursement as the job did not qualify, and regarding the key we never promised her anything because if we had it would be in writing and it is not a safety issue that we have a legal responsibility for. Thank you, [redacted]
