Review: The service I had done was [redacted]. When I had my initial appointment with Dr. Julie Staggers I was told that I would be wearing the aligners for 2-3 weeks (even says 3 weeks on their website) I wore them for 4 weeks or more. The told me I would have 8 aligners, I only had 5. Told me I would get 2 realigners w/ no aditional cost. Only had 1 and had to pay for 2 more. Also, They make you pay everything up front instead of filing a claim and then billing you. With that being said, I paid all mine up front. And they only filed a claim to my insurance for the [redacted] treament. They did not file a claim for the first sit down appointment with them nor did the file a claim to my insurance for the realigners that I had after or the replacement aligners that I paid for. When I called and asked why it was not filed with my insurance, Sue, Julie Staggers side-kick/ left hand man, stated that she didnt need to and assumed my insurance wouldnt cover it. My insurances covers 1/2 of everything up to $2,000 and I was only at $900. Once a claim was filed, they recieved the checks back from my insurance and then made the wrong amount out to me. they also tried to give me the check the insurance had given them and just right my name on the back. When I called them to tell they this could not be done, Sue said they did that will all their patients and agued with me about why my bank wouldnt take the check. Then I held on to thec chek for too long and we had to get it reissued and when I gave her the check back to do so, she never called insurance to get it reissued, she just held on to it. I called my insurance to discuss today, and they said I apparently have 2 checks that were reissued and now will have both coming to me. On top of everthing, the aligners you see on their website are not the ones you recieve. They do not use the latest technology, they do not send molds to the [redacted] company right away, horrible customer service... all in which they advertise the oposite statements on their website.Desired Settlement: A refund would be nice since my teeth are still not straight and I feel like I did not get what I paid for. But what I really request is that I just get the money that was owed back to me. And a summary of all the services that I paid for. And A break down of all the costs.

I have talked to Staggers Orthodontics and yes they have filed the claims now after draging their feet and lying to me about it. but also come to find out I was NOT even given the treated that I had requested and was very insistent on and what I had thought I paid 1600 for! I requested the [redacted] treatment, inwhich they advertise on their website, and I was given a knock off version of it called "[redacted]?". The reason I wanted [redacted] is b/c they offer retainers that are 50% stronger after the treatment is done and they also require that the orthodontist stays up on all the changes made with the product itself. They keep the education going. I then looked on the [redacted] website to see if they were even listed as a provider and THEY ARE NOT! [redacted] doesnt even work with them yet they advertise their product. I am going get this treatment redone and my teeth corrected eventually but I would like a full refund of the treatment that they promised me that I didnt get.

This is just unfair and wrong for them to do that. They need to take the [redacted] advertisement off their website too! They do not partake in anything [redacted]!

Please help me! I don't know where to go from here and am wondering if I should talk to a lawyer or if you could help me. Pretty please!

Dr. Staggers did a great job at fixing my son's teeth. They were a mess, and now they are beautiful. Her payment plans were affordable, and they took care of all of my insurance filing. And there was NO long waiting at appointments.
