I bought a puppy from ***'s Newfies in March of I found his picture and wanted him immediatelyWe found him on puppyfind.com In the beginning, some red flags went up about this breeder as she was quick to reply to the emails regarding the deposit but once the money was sent (via paypal) the quick responses stopped completelyI was told I would get weekly updates and pictures which I did not get and when I would write multiple emails expressing concern over this, she said she was starting a grooming business and was too busy and apologeticI looked past that and it came time to go pick up our ***There was someone else there picking up one of [redacted] siblings so both of our puppies were in her houseWe didn't get to see the parents thoughThere was a beautiful newfie roaming the property but he was older and unkept...clearly an outdoor dogI was just so happy to get [redacted] home, I overlooked everything elseFor the first year, [redacted] was perfectionHe would have these moments of "weirdness" where he would stop what he was doing and just lay and stare....it was only for a minute or so but I never thought anything of itThen after he turned a year old, he started having seizuresHe had to be put on phenobarbital (and a heavy dose of pills-times a day)I let the breeder ( [redacted] ) know about what was going on and I contacted all of [redacted] siblings owners just to make sure they were informed that this was going on with [redacted] and to keep an eye out for anything that may arise with their pups [redacted] died on December 5, after he stopped responding to his meds and started having seizures againHe had seizures the night before he died...the last of which put him in a coma and he had to be put downMy heart was broken and my family was devastatedI have children (one of whom is a year old little boy who still cries for [redacted] on a regular basis and he was his best friend)May sound silly to say that we are still so heartbroken but thats exactly what we are There is a piece of our family that is missing! I contacted the breeder with nothing more than intentions of letting her know what happened to ***We did every test under the sun and they couldn't find what was wrong with him so they assumed it was a genetic conditionMy vet told me to contact the breeder to make her aware because if she is an honest breeder, she needs to know that her dogs produced a puppy with these problemsIn the end, they determined that [redacted] had epilepsyI emailed her over weeks ago about this and I included pics of our family with Bruce and I never got a response! I don't understand that! I thought for sure she would feel some type of concern or compassion [redacted] there has been nothing! I don't want money and I certainly don't want another puppy from this womanAll I want is for people to know that she gave me a defective puppyI wouldn't trade my time with [redacted] for anything but it would've been nice to know! I paid for a healthy puppy that was supposed to live anywhere from 8-years and instead I got a very sick puppy who never even made it to his 2nd birthday RIP ***!

We purchased a puppy from *** in August of From the very beginning, *** was extremely friendly, informative and very up front about the pros and cons of this particular breed which suggested to me that she was a responsible breeder who cared deeply about her dogs / puppiesShe went above and beyond to make sure we were well informed and felt completely comfortable and secure with bringing home one of her puppies100% guaranteed We talked to a few other breeders before *** that were rude, arrogant and acted as if we were bothering them with questions we had Not ***! After visiting ***'s home and seeing the immaculate conditions and happy adult dogs and puppies, then reading her pages of fantastic reviews on puppyfind.com, we purchased *** brought him home and have all enjoyed this beautiful, healthy, well adjusted new family member beyond wordsHe is an absolute joy! His temperament is perfect with adults, kids, and other pets He's incredibly smart, only wants to please and is happy and healthy We are so thrilled with him, we're now in the process of buying him a playmate and would never go anywhere else but to *** From what I have seen and heard from other's who have purchased ***'s dogs, not to mention our own wonderful experience with *** I would highly recommend getting a puppy from *** above anyone else She also followed up after we brought *** home to make sure everything was going well and told us that if there were ever questions we had about the breed or anything in general to please not hesitate to reach out to her at any time She is truly a credit to conducting business with integrity and honesty and obviously cares deeply not only for her dogs and their puppies but her customers as well

RIP ***!

In August we adopted a Newfie puppy produced by the union of Harley and Sugar, two Newfoundland dogs owned and bred by ***The puppy has had multiple issuesThe first was FCP (fragmented coronoid process where bones grow at different rates) which required surgery on both front legs before the puppy was one year oldMost recently as a year old, the dog has exhibited epileptic seizureThis may require a lifetime of medicationWe love the dog and will forever treat her with all the medical support necessary, but she should not have been a pup from julies two dogsThere are problems with the results from this breeder
