Review: Back in January of 2012, my mother told me about [redacted], and his business and that he could do my taxes for me, I came down there and had my taxes done told me it would take about 3 weeks or so for him to receive my check from the IRS, it was mailed to his business the week of February **,2012, I made a trip down there on February [redacted] and picked it up, the amount of taxes I was supposed to receive was around 3,000 dollars, that day I only recieved 900.00 he took his portion for processing the forms, and told me in a few more weeks I would have the rest of my check mailed to my home address in Syracuse, NY. I waited months and nothing and when I tried to contact him he told me the check would be on the way, well I then started to receive letters from the IRS saying the remaining amount of money was put into my bank account, and at that time I never had a bank account, and I never provided [redacted] with bank account information at any time. I never recieved the remaining money, yet I'm being told I have to pay the money back, I'm not sure why I'm paying money bakc that I never recieved, My only thought about where the money could have gone would be if [redacted] opened a bank account and had the money deposited, cause I never did see the rest of my taxes.Desired Settlement: I don't want to have to pay back money I never received, and If I never received it, I would consider that as the IRS still owing me the rest of my taxes from 2011.

As you know I help [redacted] with his Income Tax Return for the year 2011, on February **, 2012 I give him a Checks for $901.05 that there was the amount that the IRS deposit for his Income Tax Return, at that time I toll him that if he receive a letter from the IRS to call me as soon as posible.
With the experience I have as a Income Tax Preparer I know that the IRS send him a letter asking a proof of his claim, but if he don't responde to those letter then the IRS assume that he was not suppose to his claim and thas why he don't receive the rest of his money....
